We did a thing this past weekend! This is Zumi and her dog-family: her half-sister Saya is the red on the left. Next is "honorary sister" Zaza. Momma Yuuna is the happy happy brindle, and Zumi is on the far right. We are thankful to Hokkyokusei Kennels Japanese Akitainu for guiding Zumi's show career!

Team Hokkyokusei had a a lot of fun showing with friends at the Land O'Lakes Kennel Club dog show this weekend.

Yesterday Zumi went Best in Miscellaneous and today Saya went Best in Miscellaneous!
Very proud of these girls and thankful for Laura, Kelly and Amy for helping me show the crew, Linda for bringing Zumi and Tif amd Amber for saving grooming space. ❤️

Fly free, Rooney Roo. You will always be my best boy. My heart broke in a million pieces three weeks ago and today those pieces were crushed, but I thank you for the little extra time to get used to the thought of letting you go. Shadow and Zumi have learned all the best things from you and will help me heal, but there will never be another dog like you in my life. You will be missed by everyone who’s ever met you, but most especially you will be missed by me.
