Here is the seventh puppy who we called Sage! Her new name from her forever family is Winnie!!! She wore the black collar (and later the pink collar)! She has a gorgeous big “sister” named Abbie! Enjoy!!!

Here is an update of the only boy in the litter of nine! We called him R. J. (Rogan Jr.) and his forever family named him Bentley! He always had the orange collar and was the second puppy born! Enjoy!!

So we got very disappointing news back from the OFA the other day...

Rogan’s scans were read as mild displasia in left hip due to slight subluxation. No arthritis found.

I’m devastated because he’s such a FABULOUS dog and the whole reason we decided we wanted to breed!

We had an independent vet (not the one who scanned him) give his opinion and he said the scans were done extremely well and he would agree with the OFA. 😥

One thing he told us that we were unaware of was that 20-50% of puppies with cleared parentage in their hips even five generations back can still get hip displasia. Also it’s very difficult to determine if mild hip displasia is from environmental factors or hereditary or both.

Our three puppies that go home next week are hanging out with mama! They are getting some special treatment!

Well it’s been a very rewarding day!

Six of our puppies went home to fantastic families today!!

We couldn’t be more thrilled for them!!!

The three puppies left are lonely but are getting extra love!

Our hearts are lonely too, but are overflowing with joy!
