Remi is all smiles to be back at school 📚
Remi grew up in my Day Training program and graduated a few months ago, so it’s been a little bit since I’ve seen her.
She’s recently been struggling with some reactivity on walks, so back to school she came! During her days here, Remi is getting some obedience refreshers and we are working on fixing that reactivity 🐾
Dogs are not perfect and even with lots of training, new issues can arise! Sometimes a little training refresher is needed and that’s okay!
I’m so glad Remi’s owners reached out, so that we could get her back on track to being a well mannered girl 🧡

It’s shaping up to be a HOT week ☀️
With this heat, it’s important to take extra precautions to keep your dogs safe 🐶

🐾Limit outside time- Take advantage of early mornings and late evenings for walks. Avoid the midday heat!
🐾Hot pavement can result in burnt paws. Test the ground before walking your dog- if it’s too hot for your hand, it’s too hot for their paws!
🐾Never leave your dog in a vehicle without air conditioning. Temperatures in cars can rise dangerously fast!
🐾Watch for signs of heatstroke. Excessive panting, drooling, lethargy, vomiting, or collapse are all things to look out for!

Instead of long walks or play sessions outside, it’s okay to stay indoors with small training activities, enrichment games, and frozen treats 🦴

Summer is officially here and I wanted to update you all on my upcoming availability!

July availability: Training// I can take on 1 more Board and Train OR 1 Puppy Stay and Train 🐶 Boarding// I have very limited space over July 4th 🇺🇸

August availability: Training// I have space for 2 Board and Trains or 2 Puppy Stay and Trains 🐕 Boarding// I have plenty of availability over Labor Day weekend 🗓️

I also have space to take on 1-2 more Day Training pups!
If you are needing training or boarding for your furry family member, don’t hesitate to reach out!

Another familiar face!
Reese previously completed my Board and Train program and is back for some additional training this summer ☀️ We will be alternating between Day Training and Private Lessons to help keep Reese’s manners in tip top shape!
Its been so fun getting to work with him again 🐾

Ice is back for a visit!
Ice is a frequent flyer around here 🐾 He completed my Board and Train program a while back and stops back in when his owner is out of town!
During his stays, we do some training refreshers. These refreshers are the perfect opportunity to work on any obedience skills that may be a little rusty and maintain a similar training structure that his owners strives for at home!
I always love when Ice comes back! I’m honored that I can be his home away from home 🧡

Dapper, Theo, Flynn and I spent the past five days competing at UKC Premier Nationals! We had a great time competing in multiple events. Here are just a few highlights of our week:

The head tilt king 👑
Arlo is one of my Private Lesson dogs. His family and I have been meeting for weekly lessons for a few months now and Arlo has made so much progress!
From learning basic obedience commands and manners to mastering advanced skills, I am so proud of how far Arlo has come 🐾
Arlo’s owners did a great job of taking my advice and putting in lots of work which resulted in a very well mannered pup!
Go be awesome Arlo 🧡

Welcome Sulley!
Sulley will be boarding with me for a little while. During his stay, I’m doing my best to make sure has a fun time and learns some manners along the way!
Even though he’s not doing individual training sessions, Sulley is still learning a lot 📝 He is learning how to be comfortable in a crate, come when called, respect door thresholds, and wait for his food. Sulley is also getting plenty of playtime and daily walks 🐾
I love taking these few extra steps with my boarding pups 🧡 This helps create some wonderfully mannered dogs that know exactly what I expect from them when they come for a visit!

My weekend buddy, Maverick!
Maverick completed my Board and Train program earlier this year and spent his weekend with me for a little training refresher🐾
During his refresher training sessions, we worked on buttoning up his off leash skills and proofing his obedience skills around more distractions 🐕
These training refresher weekends are a great way to keep Maverick’s skills sharp and give his owners a break when they need to head out of town!

The cutest Frenchie duo!
Marley and Milo completed my Board and Train program in 2023. They are back this weekend for some boarding 🐾
I’m so glad I get to spend a few days with them 🧡

Today was grooming day for my personal dogs and I took full advantage of my son’s nap time to get as much done as I could!

🧘‍♂️I set up 5 dogs on place cots, so they could practice settling around lots of distractions
🎾I gave 1 dog some free time in the fenced yard to run and play
🧼I bathed, blow dried, and brushed 1 dog at a time
💤My baby got a much needed nap

That’s what I call a productive afternoon!

Sway is back!
Sway completed my Board and Train program last year and is back for some boarding this week 🐾 During her boarding days, Sway gets a daily walk, plenty of playtime, and spends some time relaxing on place. We try to keep her day fun, while also maintaining structure and staying on top of her training 🐕
I love when past training pups come back for a visit 🧡
