A quick shout out to the Pet Resource Center of Kansas City

Big Announcement today at 3:00pm!
It’s going to be very hard for me to keep this secret, but my team tells me I have to be quiet until 3 PM. The one thing I can tell you, is that it’s all about Jimmy and finding him a forever home. He has been waiting over 600 days to be adopted and that was the inspiration for this project.
Stay tuned to learn more! 😉
Elise, 10.14lb, Female spayed, 7 years and 5 months old.
Elise is not your typical torti! She loves people and will tolerate other kitties providing they stay out of her bubble, but she would prefer to be queen of her castle. She loves to snuggle, and she loves to play. At times she has the energy of a kitten, and then other times, she’s a reserved little lady. Elise came from a tough situation where she didn’t get very much attention or love. It hasn’t taken her long to unpack her bags and show us just how wonderful she is. If you are looking for a sweet yet playful lap kitty, Elise might be the one for you!
Brandy R. Fannan Homes wiill pay $50 of her $70 adoption fee if they mention this FB post through the end of January. Contact HELP Humane if interested at (816) 318-4357 or [email protected]
An update about Windsor Dog Pound, Windsor Missouri
Lyla 9 year old female Siamese mix. Needs a calm environment. At one her owners added a dog and apparently a couple more dogs. She started stress peeing outside the box. They locked her in a basement room the past 8 years. She’s very loving. Just had a dental. Brandy R. Fannan Homes will pay $50 of her $70 adoption fee through HELP Humane if they mention your post.
I just delivered the heaters and the dog coats, which will be a huge help, but the ultimate goal is to get them an HVAC system so they have heat and air conditioning when they desperately need it. The dogs will definitely get through the freezing temperatures. We have coming up this weekend and I’m positive. They will be warm, but it’s only a Band-Aid for the real problem. Below you will find an Amazon wish list link that has food, tarps, and treats on it. They’re almost completely out of food, which is heartbreaking, so please find it in your heart to click on that link below. I will screenshot their Venmo for people that wanna make a donation towards the HVAC system. They raised $4000 of the $10,000 needed, so we have a long way to go, but I’m confident we will reach our goal. Pease find it in your heart to do some shopping or make a monetary donation, so all of the animals are safe and warm this winter. Thank you!

Windsor Animal Pound 🆘🆘🆘🆘🆘
Needs Our Help 🆘🆘🆘🆘🆘
We have freezing temperatures and up to 14 inches of snow coming this weekend, so I will be driving to Windsor Dog Pound, Windsor Missouri to make sure their Animal Shelter has everything they need to protect the dogs. It’s a freestanding concrete building with no heat, so the temperatures outside are very similar to the temperatures inside. They have no heat, but they are hosting a fundraiser for an HVAC system. This will make an incredible difference, but we have to focus on this weekend first. If you would like to support this campaign, please comment below or message me. Thank you and god bless! ❤️

I recently had the privilege of partnering with my good friends with the McCarthy family foundation (McCarthy Auto Group). They have supported my animal rescue work for many years and never hesitate to step up when we have an urgent need. This year we have a record number of dogs that are forced to live outdoors 24/7, and sadly every year, some freeze to death. Our goal is to make sure that doesn’t happen, so thanks to the McCarthy family, we were able to donate $5000 worth of Carhartt) dog coats, which was a total of 120 coats. These waterproof dog coats will get used immediately, by my good friend Andrea Knobbe with the Heart of America Humane Society.
This campaign is the perfect reminder, that if you see something, say something. Cats and dogs don’t have a voice, so it’s our responsibility to protect them. Be their hero!
Around 200 families rely on our pet food pantry twice a month to keep their beloved pets fed and healthy. With the holiday season approaching, many families are feeling the strain, and at our last distribution, we had to hand out mostly canned food because our shelves were nearly empty. Now, we’re completely out. 💔
Let’s make this season brighter for pets and their people! You can help by donating:

Christmas didn’t look the way I planned this year, but spending the day with Whiskey at the shelter turned it into something meaningful. While my own plans were canceled, I realized these dogs like Whiskey don’t even have plans—they just wait, hoping for a chance at a better life.
To brighten his day, I brought Whiskey a cheeseburger, and watching his excitement reminded me why I do this. He deserves more than a shelter; he deserves a forever home where he’ll be cherished for the rest of his life.
If you’ve been looking for a loyal, loving companion, Whiskey might just be the one. Contact Great Plains SPCA for more information or to schedule a meet-and-greet.
Merry Christmas, Whiskey. You’re the reason today mattered. 🎄❤️
