Need tips for getting your pet to the vet? If getting in the car is the first problem-load up daily and take short trips just to end of drive. Reward quiet, positive responses with tiny treats and praise. Work up to longer trips with a destination your pet enjoys-the bank drive throughs often hand out dog treats! Then start driving to the vet weekly for quick, free weight checks. Gets them used to entering the lobby and coming to vet for fun reasons.

Warning from one of our clients re Hartz Dura Play Ball. Her niece’s dog accidentally ingested the squishy ball and require ER surgery. Even if you select the proper size ball for your dog (which she did), because it is squishy it is a choking and ingestion hazard.

Welcome to Animal Blessings Pet Hospital where animal blessings are appreciated every day. We have been serving the Missoula area for over 25 years. We are located on Highway 93, just south of Missoula, next door to Five Valley Honda and in front of the Humane Society of Western Montana. Our location at the head of the Bitterroot Valley is easy to get in and out of, especially for commuters from the Bitterroot Valley.
