Finn the 6 month old Aussie Doodle just finished up his 3 session basic obedience/troubleshooting program where he learned loose leash walking, the place command, sit/stay and down/stay for duration around distractions, recall, we fine tuned his demand barking, nuisance begging, jumping, leave it and drop it. Amazing puppy in so many aspects and his star is shining bright!

Cody the Shepherd! He's an overall stellar pup and did so well during his training session downtown where we focused on socialization and desensitization. He got to see and learn that intimidating things really aren't so bad and that if he looks to his handler in these situations then we will help or advocate him through it. The confidence he gained in a short time is awesome to see. Good boy Cody!

Seymour the Bouvier had a great time getting used to his 28 year old brother from a different species today. He learned that big tall snorty things are good and that he needs to give them space and also how to stay polite and tolerate his owner showing attention to them. He even got to show off his obedience commands around it while while mom sat on top of it and got real fast.🏇 He did great and will sleep good tonight! 😴

They have a variety of services to help get your dog out on walks, fed or if you have a trip coming up and need someone to drop in and take care of your pets. Her and her staff are amazing!

9 month old Seymour the Bouvier Des Flandres did so well today during his leash walking lesson downtown. It was a very busy day where he got to practice walking in and out and past countless people and dogs along with soaking up all that the area has to offer for young puppy minds. He learned to conquer his nemesis the stairs and grew invaluable and lifelong confidence while doing it too. No picture taken by me can do this dog justice and ill try to get a better picture next time to showcase this show dog.

Working Mr. Mowgli through some basic reactivity and learning to become more reliable off leash while at it. He's doing great. On a side note his amazing owners have him on a raw diet and HOLY COW you can really see a difference with his coat at the least. His whites pop more than im used to seeing and if you know how hard it is to keep any dogs face clean then you should be as impressed as I am at this spotless adult St. Bernard face. Props to his goomer as well!

Noochie the 2 year old Newfy Doodle has come so far in so many areas during his advanced obedience program. He's just the best and nicest big guy you could imagine but he's HUGE and doodles tend to get pretty rambunctious when they get excited so he's done an an amazing job at learning how to deal with his emotions and making good choices around exciting people and dogs. He now walks with a loose leash past all the exciting things, has leaned much better manners in the house and around easy to reach foods or things he wants, he can stay, and we will be focusing our remaining time on finishing up becoming polite and reliable off leash so his very dedicated owners have security and can offer him the freedom to stretch those big legs whenever they please. Good job Noochie boy!

Leo got to practice his obedience and being respectful around Bruin the distraction today. He needs very little guidance and then just takes it and runs. He's a great example of a stable .

Old man Bruisey Boy has been the first friend to hundreds of dogs. He's the first dog the reactive dogs learn to exist around and eventually befriend. The first friend for the fearful dogs who never have had a dog encounter to go well. The first friend for the dogs who were out to do damage to all dogs previously. The first friend and grumbly leader to countless puppies. Today was Yogi. Yogi got a better perspective through Bruin that his usual pushy antics once again are not always welcome. It was a great learning experience for him and he got to practice showing respect and exploring with another dog.

Bruin amazes me all the time how he automatically knows how to deal, exist or educate each of the types of dogs he's around. You can also gain prospective on what that dog may need by how he handles them. He's an invaluable part of Diverse Dog Training and turns 10 years old this month. Happy birthday Bruisey!

Jasper just finished his puppy development program where he and his owner learned a mix of obedience training, housetraining, socialization, desensitization and structure, grooming and confidence building. He's doing great and growing faster than I've ever seen a puppy grow.

Yogi the golden has been putting his older owner through the RINGER for quite a while now. He bullies. He has found his own way to entertain himself any time his owner moves. He mouths, jumps, grabs and pummels his owner and there was nothing he could do about it. Really anything he tried made Yogi put more effort into his terrorism. He has no malicious intent but dogs don't care about our feelings and the pleasure Yogi gets from it is enough to continually reinforce the habit.

Now that Yogi has clear communication and an accountability system he is showing us how he can easily make good choices and along the way he's earning his off leash freedom. Good boy Yogi!

Chester's owner made the drive from Seattle to work on dog reactivity and off leash training. Within a short period of time Chester stopped the reactivity and even earned his off leash badge. He's a great dog, good boy Chester!

Happy go lucky Odie made leaps and bounds during his obedience program! He's got very dedicated owners but along with Odie they needed some fine tuning. The misinformation in dog training is rampant and is causing many owners to spin themselves in circles when it comes to their dog's behavior.

Within a handful of lessons Odie went from reactive to dogs on leash to polite and existing around them. He learned a solid place command that his owners can utilize when people knock at the door or any time they need it. He went from uncontrollable off leash to reliable and during our last session at Blue Mountain he showed us all that he can even heel off leash past and wait to be released when he meets oncoming traffic on the trail!

Im so proud of Odie and his owners. Good job everyone!

Sammi the Schnauzer is working towards her off leash freedom! Along with all the fun she will get to have exploring, it will make bathroom breaks on their property much easier for her owners. She's just the cutest!

Tess the heeler has made LEAPS and BOUNDS and she's only halfway finished with her program. She still has work to do but she's proven how she can easily make good decisions around dogs, humans, skateboards or anything else that strikes her fancy. She aims to please, and now that it's clear what her owner's need from her she's always one step ahead of us and happy to work with them. She also gained a rare new friend today 🙋 and I couldn't be happier to finally feel how soft she is 😅

On to more difficult enviroments and situations!

We are working on getting Rip the Weimaraner reliable off leash so he can burn off the extra energy and explore on all the hikes his owners go on. Great pup!

This clip may not seem like a big deal but this is a HUGE deal for Bosco! Off leash roaming with another dog which he really struggles with because of a traumatic past while also willingly engaging and committing to a man!🥰🥳 He's a great pup with an equally great owner and I couldn't be more proud of them both. Onward and upward! Good boy Bosco!

From bolting the second he got a chance to reliable, safe and enjoyable off leash hikes. Cooper is doing great!

Bruin the snowshark 😆😆😆

The new and improved Wilson! When we started with Wilson he was very reactive and would bark and lunge at dogs and fast moving things like bikes. This made getting him out very difficult. Today Wilson can politely walk on a loose leash, heel, has reliable sits and down/stays and is reliable off leash around distractions. This guy has knocked every challenging task we had for him out of the park and he’s done so well he can now even enjoy the dog park! Good boy Wilson! (Videos in story)

A little before and after of how Maverick is doing with his aggression in the house! Maverick hasn’t been able to be near a dog in quite some time because his explosions made it dangerous to take him out. He’s also bitten people that enter the house. He was completely out of control and how he acts in the first video was the norm for any passerby’s. After 3 sessions with Maverick he’s made AMAZING progress all around and even made his first dog friend in a long time! We still have sessions to go with Maverick but at this point we can safely get him out and socialize and with his new mindset he’s knocking every new task out of the park! Good boy MAVERICK!!

Maverick struggles with human and dog aggression. He has bites on his record and we are working at making sure this never happens again. Because he can be so explosive it made it very hard for his owner to be able to get him out and go for walks. In the video you’ll see a very common situation for Maverick. He would sit in the window and wait for anything to pass by so he could aggressively chase them off. He would hit the windows so hard he was at risk of breaking them and cutting himself severely. After our second session yesterday he proved to us that he can control himself at the window and was even able to control himself around Bruin! He’s a great dog and I really look forward to being able to expand his life to new environments, stop the aggressive behaviors and gain friendship! After videos to come!
