At King's K-9s, we are focused on providing Dog Training services with the highest levels of client satisfaction and dog safety – we will do everything we can to meet your expectations and give you a loving well-behaved dog. We use positive and negative reinforcement never punishment, we strive to keep every dog in their home and out of the shelter. Did you know that dogs don't automatically understand that a command means the same thing in every environment?

A dog who downs perfectly in your living room may struggle at the park because of all the new sights, smells, and distractions. That's why training in different locations is so important!

I'm excited to officially welcome another incredible pup to the extended ShadowWall family!

Many of you have already met Letty, ShadowWall K9 Services' newest pack member and future Search & Rescue K9. Her littermate sister has found an amazing home with a local police officer, and I'm looking forward to watching her grow into whatever her future has in store.

Every great working dog starts with a solid foundation, and it's exciting to see these two sisters beginning their journeys side by side. I'll be cheering them both on as they learn, mature, and reach their full potential.

Welcome to the adventure! We can't wait to see where the road leads. 🐾❤️

"My dog listens perfectly at home... but not anywhere else!"

If you've ever said this, you're definitely not alone!
One of the biggest misconceptions in dog training is believing that because a dog knows a command in your living room, they'll automatically understand it everywhere else.

The truth is, dogs don't generalize the way people do.
A "sit" in your quiet home is completely different from a "sit" at a busy park, a pet store, or during a family gathering. New sights, smells, sounds, and distractions make it much harder for your dog to focus.

That's why successful training happens in stages: 🐾 Learn the skill. 🐾 Practice in different locations. 🐾 Gradually increase distractions. 🐾 Be patient and stay consistent.

Training isn't about perfection—it's about building confidence and communication between you and your dog.

Remember: every successful dog was once a beginner.

Hi! My name is Chelsea Chattin, and I'm the founder and lead trainer of ShadowWall K9 Services.

Dogs have been my passion for as long as I can remember, but my journey truly began more than 15 years ago when I became involved in Search and Rescue. Working alongside incredible dogs taught me that success isn't just about commands—it's about trust, communication, and building a partnership.
That philosophy is the foundation of ShadowWall K9 Services.

Whether your goal is to raise a confident puppy, improve your dog's manners, work through behavioral challenges, or eventually explore working dog training, my goal is to help you build a dog that you can confidently take anywhere.

I believe every dog deserves the opportunity to succeed, and every owner deserves the knowledge and support to help them get there. Training isn't about creating a "perfect" dog—it's about creating a relationship built on understanding, consistency, and teamwork.

As ShadowWall grows, I look forward to expanding into specialized services including working dog development, tracking, trailing, detection, and Search & Rescue training. But no matter how much we grow, my commitment will always remain the same: treating every dog as an individual and every client with honesty, respect, and professionalism.

Letty had another mini training session before her dinner tonight. I started introducing "Down" at first just using her food to lure her into the down position, then once she got the idea, I added a word for her. And this repetitive up down is a fun game called puppy push ups.
