Had a date with a pretty green eyed girl named Winnie tonight in Mocksville . We went to Tractor Supply and looked a chickens. She is a very timid girl, but did much better than expected in public.

This was a delayed celebration. Scooter decided to go on a journey for his Birthday. I was worried sick and looked for him all day, before he returned that night. In August of 2023 he got down and couldn't walk. He miraculously recovered. I know he want be here much longer and I'm going to try and cherish every moment. As you can see in the picks he is now wearing a Tracitive GPS. Hopefully he will be much easier to find next time.
So people ask how has he lived so long? I believe his secret to such a long healthy life is the healing power of the sun. He lays out in sun for hours every day.

Mason UPDATE! I would like to thank everyone for their thoughts and prayers. Mason ate part of a towel sometime Friday. My vet recommended immediate surgery, but said he couldn't perform it Saturday. He referred me to the Carolina Veterinary Specialist in Winston-Salem. After waiting over four hours in Winston-Salem, they informed me Mason would need surgery. The surgery alone was going to be $6000. Mason appeared to be feeling better during the wait. Knowing the risk of surgery, I decided to bring him home and re-evaluate the situation on Sunday. Early Sunday I checked on him and found an energetic happy dog. He had passed the towel. I'm so thankful to God for bringing him through this. I hope this story may help someone else. Although I am very careful my dogs still somehow got to the towel. I was told his chances of passing the towel were slim. One thing for sure I know my dog better than anyone and made what I thought to be the best decision for him.
Mason , was supposed to be my next in house dog. Due to losing my dog of all time, I just couldn't bear the thoughts of loving another dog that much and kept him out of the house. I like to think everything happens for a reason and something good will come from this . I can already see the good from this experience. I met some really good people during my wait and Mason will now be my shadow for the rest of his life.

Looking to help rehome this little girl named Ruby. She was born on April 28th 2023. Her owner has been dealing with health complications and is struggling with Ruby's care. She is a full blooded Miniature Pincher and comes with registration papers. Ruby has not been fixed. Ruby is a very sweet and high energy dog. FOUND NEW HOME! Thanks for sharing post. This beautiful 9 month full blooded female Basset Hound is now needing a new home. The children in the family have developed allergies. The family is heart broken, but have no choice but to rehome her. I personally met her and she is an extremely sweet and friendly leash trained dog. She has no issues and is an excellent house dog. This baby is good with kids and other dogs. The owners will only let her go to a family that keeps her inside. She has had her vaccinations and comes with papers. Also she has not been spayed. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants a young dog and dosent have time for a puppy. Their is a $500 rehoming fee. Contact Matt at 336 528 7661.

Both of these beautiful dogs recently completed my two week basic obedience. Charlie a Chihuahua poodle mix and Banjo a Husky Labrador mix. Who do you think trained better? Very interesting ! I will reveal the results soon.

Around 15 years ago I rescued this little dog. Little did I know the impact he would have on my life. Scooter and I have been through a lot together. He is a true survivor and many times I wasn't sure if he would make it through the night. He now has problems walking and is partially deaf and blind. Even with all these issues, Scooter still greets me and protects my property. I'm so blessed to have owned such an amazing dog!
