This is Ben and he’s a yodeler. Ben is very good at entertaining the kennels singing the songs of his people, but he must go!
Ben was found as stray and never claimed, huge loss for whoever his people were. 🥺
He is around 4 years old, 50 pounds, seems good with kitties and enjoys the company of dogs. Ben had a meet & greet with children and he was a perfect gentleman!
You have to hear his cries to be free, swing in and ask to see Ben. ♥️ Open at noon today.

Toby 💔
Toby came in as stray on March 2nd. That means nearly an entire year without L♥️VE❗️
Toby is about 5 years old and has the saddest eyes. 🥺 He weighs 85 pounds and is playful like a little puppy! He knows sit, stay, shake and is eager to please.
No kitties for Toby, we would require a meet & greet with your dog.
We don’t know why no one wants this big handsome man! 😩
When you adopt from a shelter it inspires others to adopt from a shelter. 🥰

Brioche 💔
This just isn’t fair. 😩
Brioche came in back in September, a severe case of neglect. She had all your support and is grateful but now she needs a hero. 🙏
Brioche has been spayed and is ready to go home. Her need for TLC is not gone however. She still needs medicated baths, a special mousse applied regularly and ointment in her eyes. We are doing the best we can providing all the things but feel she won’t heal fully until she is in a loving, caring home with regular care.
Bri wants to be the queen of the castle and she deserves it.
No kitties for Bri, meet and greet required with your pups.

Kurtis 😻🐓

This handsome boy is Kurtis. Kurtis is uniquely different. He has a condition conected to his breathing which makes him sound like a chicken.🐓 He has been examined by several vets and no one can determine why he does what he does. It doesn't seem to slow him down in any way. He runs and plays just like any other 8mo old kitten. He is extremely affectionate, loves to be held, and is constantly under foot.
He is currently in a foster home with dogs and another cat. 🐶😽

This is typical of how a dog reacts when they are petrified from abandonment. 😢
Spot was bedding down in the solar field in Deerfield eventually traveling over 10 miles to Poland where he was tired and gave up.
Spot was fending for himself for weeks-alone, scared & hungry at only 8 months old!
His owners were identified and when Spot was safe, they declined taking him back and that is great news! He can now live his life loved and appreciated. 🥰
Thank you Andy and his son who handled Spot with care that day. Our Herkimer County DCO’s are the best group and we are thankful for their dedication and compassion.
Our giant puppy Spot is accepting applications. Let’s show him a lifetime of love and the best care!
