6 year old Ice is a bit of a cougar and joining you with her younger boyfriend 3 year old Hank is a must. Ice & Hank are happy paling around with each other on the daily but still need you to support them. 💰😆
Although this duo is large in size tipping the scales collectively at roughly 200 pounds they don’t require much space in your home. When they curl up you won’t even notice they are there! 🫣
Ice & Hank seem to ignore the kitties and may accept living with another pup.

Toby is about 5 years old and has the saddest eyes. 🥺 He weighs 85 pounds and is playful like a little puppy! He knows sit, stay, shake and is eager to please.
No kitties for Toby, we would require a meet & greet with your dog.
We don’t know why no one wants this big handsome man! 😩

We tell all our residents that good things come to those who wait and reassure them constantly that we are working on the most perfect home for you. 🥰 Kilo has found forever!
Izzy came with her very supportive family for several visits getting to know this big boy when the day came that all knew Kilo was fit for them.
It was also Izzy’s birthday so not only does she have a new best friend as a gift, she spent her birthday money on donations for Ki’s friends he left behind. 🎁
Turns out Kilo gained an unexpected furry bff himself and we cannot stop watching Ki & Stitch and their love affair! 🐶😻
Thank you for being a beautiful and kind young lady Izzy! Happy Birthday!!! 🥳

Oh we love spoiling our residents! 🐓🫀for everyone! We learned something new about Toby and that’s that he can communicate using human gestures. 😆 Clearly he said over and over that chicken hearts were a NO for him! Before anyone tries to squash our good works…YES chicken hearts are extremely healthy for dogs and NO they don’t live outside. 🙄 Enjoy this for what it is…a little delicacy for the animals discarded by humans. 🥰 Peep Michelle 👀kitties like them too, she ate the whole thing! 🙀

He is ready to put that all behind him and move on to only happy days! 🤗 Dutch so friendly! He seems to be able to live with kitties (we can show you) and would require a meet & greet with your dog. He literally cries all day, sad that he isn’t loved by a person. Dutch is failing here and needs OUT. 💔 So get down here, open at noon. ☀️

❤️❤️❤️ADOPTED ❤️❤️❤️ Today we celebrate Haila❗️🥳 Haila has officially been a resident of HCHS for an entire year so we threw her a party. All the dogs had beef stew and a corn muffin for a special dinner to observe Haila’s unfortunate and sad anniversary with us. We wish we were sharing a special adoption announcement for her but giving her all the love and attention she deserves is the very best we can keep doing. Haila is 3 years old and loves her people to a fault…shes a great protector and even better snuggler! Help us honor Haila by sharing her commemorating a not so joyful milestone. 💔 She’s not had a single application ever. No one ever even asks to see her. 🥺

Ben was found as stray and never claimed, huge loss for whoever his people were. 🥺 He is around 4 years old, 50 pounds, seems good with kitties and enjoys the company of dogs. Ben had a meet & greet with children and he was a perfect gentleman! You have to hear his cries to be free, swing in and ask to see Ben. ♥️ Open at noon today.
