🚨Let’s talk about naughty pets!🚨 (Walter is just for attention because he’s the best boy😂)

I’ve gotten a lot of inquires about grooming the “ungroomable” pets. It truly does not matter the age or size, I’ll at least put in a good effort to groom your pet. My original background for nearly 14 years was in Veterinary Medicine. I received my first certification at 17 before I even earned my high school diploma. But prior to that, I spent every summer from the age of 9 in Thompsonville, Illinois at my Uncles veterinary clinic.💅 I’ve worked day practices & even the #1 veterinary hospital in Rutherford County in Nashville, Tennessee which specialized in emergency medicine.

✨I don’t care how long it takes or if we have to split appointments up, when it comes to your pets groom I will do my very best to make them look and feel their best. My shop is appointment based to minimize the stress a busy shop can cause your babies. I’ve done my best to keep my prices at a fair and reasonable place so I can take you all by appointments & I am very proud of this!✨

I had back to back husky deshedding and I can confirm my shop looked like the North Pole by this morning! IT IS SO IMPORTANT TO DESHED. It not only helps double coated breeds regulate their temperatures but it’s also more comfortable for them afterwards due to the base coats ability to mat!

Both came in for deshedding treatments & as you can see THEY NEEDED IT. The pile of hair is from ONE of them. Absolutely wild! But seriously, I didn’t want to give them back. We shared goldfish and snuggled. Who wants to give that up?! 😭🥹❤️

Even at 35lbs, he sheds more than a lot of husky’s I’ve groomed! The second photo was just after the double bath treatment and scrub; not even to the brush and blowout yet! He’ll be back to see me every four weeks until this base coat is maintained.💅

🚨LARGE BREED? No problem!🚨

Meet Adonis, the gentle giant 🥹 Adonis came to me due to having pre-existing skin issues, aka the “itchies”. I used a locally made balm to soothe his spots after a medicated bath and blowout. 🐝🍯Unfortunately, we did have to shave off his top coat and expose his undercoat due to matting & a previous groomer shaving him too short. BUT he was so good and so happy after it was off and soothed! Adonis will be continuing this treatment every three weeks, a medicated bath and blowout with a balm, until he’s got the most gorgeous coat this Spring!!💅🏻💅🏻💅🏻

Just an FYI to anyone hesitant to book a grooming for their fur babes, if your baby taps out then WE TAP OUT. I offer a bath and trim (price depending on size) in between grooms if you’re a regular client and/or your baby is high stress or at their breaking point.

I WILL NOT STRESS YOUR DOG OUT TO “FINISH” A GROOM. I’d rather have you come back in a few weeks to get a bath, blowout, and a trim to finish it up than to have your pet scared to come back!

🚨Let’s talk about shedding!🚨

Today I had these gorgeous pups, Duke & Rosie, come in for a ✨deshedding treatment✨. These two will be continuing this treatment every 4 weeks until Spring to decrease the amount of shedding in their mommas house! The goal is to move to every 6-8 weeks once their undercoats have been managed. This consists of a double bath with a special shampoo, a blowout, and a TON of brushing with a special deshedding comb. Queen Rosie did get a whitening treatment too on her pretty fur🥹😌 I could not have asked for better behaved dogs today. They were CHAMPS, which makes this process so much quicker.

🚨🚨Meet our naughty girl Rosie, the mini golden doodle. I got a call a few days ago from a family friend whose dog had gotten burs stuck in her beard, ears, and everywhere else. The problem? There were two burs left in her beard & Rosie wouldn’t allow anyone to get them out. Unfortunately, Rosie has been “fired” from every groomer she’s been to for behavior issues which made me even more up to the challenge.💪

✨End result: I had little to no issues with Rosie!✨ We learned that she needs a little party hat to get her nails clipped at the end & a sling to keep her from sitting down. How did I get those burs out of her face? I used a doggie ear m**f to basically hide her eyes, some detangler, and I TOOK MY TIME and reassured her that she was okay.🥹 There is no rushing in my shop!☮️ By the end, Rosie was falling asleep while I shaped her face 😭😂

🚨🚨Sweet Bella came in for a much needed grooming! She’s 14 and stresses very easily so finding us was a blessing.🥹 Due to matting & anxiety, her momma and I decided to have her come back every 5 weeks to maintain her beautiful coat & so we could spend more time on shaping without getting overly stressed out. 💅

✨✨One thing about this shop is that we will not push your dogs to a point of stress and anxiety. I’d rather rebook you for 4-6 weeks out and come back regularly so we can maintain the perfect cut than to have your pet terrified to come back. ✨✨

Sweet baby girl Lucy came in to see me before her big surgery Friday! She’s having a CCL repair (ACL) so having this intimate and quiet space was just this called for. She was beyond good and patient; making sure we took multiple lay down breaks to rest that leg!
