⛄️❄️ Winter Weather Pet Safety Alert ❄️⛄️

If it is too cold for you, most times, it is too cold for your pet! Keeping our beloved pets warm is crucial as the forecast changes to a chance of ice and snow! Here are a few tips to make certain our pets stay warm during this time. 🐾

⚠️ Early signs of hypothermia include but not limited to: shivering, weakness and lethargy, lack of alertness, muscle stiffness, pale gums, shallow or erratic breathing, low body temperature. THIS IS AN EMERGENCY and will require vet intervention IMMEDIATELY ⚠️

We are currently seeking a full-time Receptionist. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be detail-oriented, and have a passion for working with animals. Responsibilities will include greeting clients, answering phones, scheduling appointments, and assisting with administrative tasks. Previous experience in a veterinary setting is preferred but not required. 🐶 Did you know? Heartworm disease can be deadly for our furry friends, but prevention is key!
Here are some important facts to keep in mind:
1️⃣ Heartworms are transmitted through mosquito bites.
2️⃣ Symptoms may not be visible until the disease has progressed.
3️⃣ Prevention is safer and more affordable than treatment.
4️⃣ Regular testing and preventive medication are recommended.

We have ferret vaccines!! 🤪

‼️Distemper is a very deadly disease, especially in ferrets with a 100% mortality rate. Ferrets can be exposed to distemper via contact with airborne virus, contact with bodily fluids from an infected animal, or something as simple as interactions with inanimate objects. In other words, you could potentially bring it home on your shoes after walking in the woods, pet stores or a pet shelter! ☹️

We’d love to see your fur-noodles and update their vaccines! We are also offering Rabies vaccines for ferrets as well!
