Mixed breed dog enjoying their victory lap after winning at the AKC Agility National Championships
Congratulations to the handler and dog!! Well done!!
While John Henry may not have full use of his back legs, he has full use of his sweet and spunky personality ❤️❤️❤️
He is one of our resident dogs and much loved by all of us at Hodgepodge 😍
Sound up for cute cat chirps 🥰
Willow loves watching all his friends visit his backyard 🦌 🦅 🐰
YOU GUYS!!
We were mentioned on the radio today! 101.9 Lite F.M.
Yay!!!
Lola's training adventures today!
Just look at John Henry's progress! When he first arrived, he couldn't feel anything below his waist. His back legs and tail were completely limp and he couldn't move them at all. With the help of meds, daily water therapy, and massage, he's regaining some feeling in his legs and tail! Check out the video below to see his beautiful wiggly feet!
Enjoy this video of John Henry playing with his pal, Buddy! John Henry loves to play with toys and to roll in the grass, even if it's a bit modified because he's in his cart. He is so full of life and doesn't spend one minute feeling sorry for himself!
We are still awaiting the results from the in- depth tick panel that Dr. Lewis sent out. He started him on doxy in the meantime.
Some encouraging news...
John Henry can now wag his tail and if you scratch him at the base of his tail, his little back legs kick! He is also barking to let us know when he needs to go out, and is getting better at holding it until we carry him outside.
Two bully braids, but they still share just one. They also share one food bowl, then move on to the next.
My favorite part of rescue work. Sigh. Love the bottle babies!!
I put my finger under his paw after the video ended, and he wagged his tail when he felt it. He's 10 days old and already wags his tail! Be still my heart!
