Hello, my story doesn’t end well. My two pups were cited one time and then I was forced to deliver them to the shelter until my hearing. Well after two hearings and no witnesses on the plaintiff’s part the judge still pushes the hearing further. Well, I have been putting off my surgeries since all this began and I was taken to the emergency room on the morning of my third hearing date. I called twice to let them know and to confirm that it would be rescheduled, and I was assured it would be. The next morning I email my medical records to the court and not 30 minutes later I get an email back saying the judge said I was a no show and found me and my dogs guilt. Same day I hand delivered a letter to the judge asking for a fair trial and attached my medical records along with it. I also emailed copies to everyone else. This was on January 31, 2023 and still no response from the judge. I call everyday getting the same response “I still don’t know anything, call back tomorrow”. So, I got angry and sad because I just wanted my family home so I called the shelter even though the shelter manager told me she would file a harassment charge against me, and I lied and said that the sheriff’s department told me to call her and find out the status of my dogs. She then told me she had them killed February 1, 2023. Still, no one has told me the decision. So they are just lying and lying to me. I need help to make these soulless, mean people to pay for what they have done to my family and many other families that couldn’t defend themselves. The only difference is that I don’t have anything else they can take from me. They took my whole family
