Gertie and Barbie are back on the home place since wintering in Texas and they are loving this no kids life!!! THEY FINALLY GET TO RELAX!

They have spent their afternoons basking in the sun and enjoying the big pastures all to themselves. Happy Girls! ❤️

Growing up big and strong is a hard job! Gerty is an ever watchful mama and Sophie lives the life of leisure! Last barn check was too cute not to share!

We’ve been busy here this last couple weeks giving this place a face lift! Busy is probably an understatement if you ask my back! ALL NEW FENCE!

The horses are so happy it makes it all worth it! The project continues on grading and one more long section of fence to be torn out and redone but its hard not to love the progress! The girls are loving it and the babies are too!

We’ve put up 200 bales of hay, mowed all the pastures and the quarantine barn is getting fully matted and new lights! A new catch pen is in the works and I’m so blessed to have such a nice place for these mistreated souls to land. Getting our 3 barns fully functional with lights, fans and mats is been a put off project but its all getting done!

That being said. If anyone ever wants to donate their time or equipment, please do! Donations of any kind are welcome!

I have accounts at 3 vet clinics for various needs!
Our co-op has an account for us and they can take payments directly for donations!

This has been the ride of a lifetime and it’s just getting started! ❤️

Admiring these beauties tonight. I bet someone wouldn’t have thrown her away if she looked like this! Like who is she!?! 60 day feed trial with Purina and man talk about brand new! Great top line and tone! Wow!

Bo is about 9 weeks old! Barbie has been such a trooper through it all and blew away all expectations.
