My 2023 breeding list so far, hoping to get one more doe bred but we'll see π€
Spots on the wait list are now open
The first doe I have due is Flying Feets S Beatrice. She is due 3/11/2023, and she is bred to Hoach's WLG Javari (name pending). Bea has a beautiful top and rump. She has a very nice general appearance, and she has very good rear and rump width. This will be Bea's second time freshening, and I am very excited to see how her udder developes. I liked her FF udder capacity, her medial, her rear udder height, and her fore udder attachment. This breeding should improve on teat placement, rear udder attachment, and should correct Bea's slightly overextended rear legs. Udder capacity, rear and rump width, and dairy character should be very present in these kids. I am very excited to see these kids! First doe is retained. I would retain all of these kids but I have to make room for all the myo kids I'm gonna keep π€£
The second doe I have due is Siena-Glen X-RA Talisa, aka Uma. Uma is due 3-18-2023, and she is bred to Willow-Lane KC Shakille. Uma was appraised in 2019, and scored a VEEE90. Uma has very nice dairy character, and I like her top and width, as well as her front leg placement. She has a nice wide rear too. Uma scored a 48 in teat diameter, so if you're looking to add more teat diameter to your herd, these are definitely the kids for you. Shakille should take the diameter down a little bit in these kids. Uma also scored well in rear udder height, medial, fore udder attachment, and rear udder side view. I expect these kids to be very nice, and I am excited to see them. First doe is retained.
We are located in Montague, CA, and our herd is tested negative for CL, CAE, and Johne's.
