Mav and Mace were shown on the turkey trot video from today!

In fact, we only saw 2 other dogs at the race. They were both GSPs too.

Ours thought it was a great warmup…

Macy: Let’s go! I want to splash in all the puddles! (And she did)
They both wore their medals proudly when it was all said and done!

Macy was the cutest thing yesterday!

After her vet appointment, I took her to Petsmart to pick up food and a new cozy bed (Doctor prescribed, of course 🤪). We walked up to the (clearance)toys, and I asked her if there was one she liked.
It’s like she understood me- she gently grabbed the largest and brightest of the toys, a fluorescent octopus.
She carried it through the store as we finished our shopping. At checkout, she calmly sat and waited while I paid for it. The cashier cut the tags off and handed it back to her.

She carried that thing all the way to the car.

Maverick showed his hunting drive this past weekend at the family dove hunt. Hopefully this means he will sail through training this fall
