Precious Maggie came to us as a stray with 6 newborn puppies. One of our phenomenal foster parents took them in for several weeks until they were all ready for adoption. Hello, I am Leona! I am a cute, sweet girl that is very happy to be sitting at the shelter. I was lost and alone not so very long ago looking for food, shelter, and a kind face. I didn’t have much luck finding any of those! Fortunately for me, Animal Control came to my rescue. They picked me up and brought me to the shelter so I could safely wait for my family to claim me. No one ever came and now I am up for adoption and I am very excited about that! I am an eleven-month-old Border collie mix. Oh, hi. I am Destiny. I am a two-year-old terrier mix that is hoping to find a new home. I had a home that I loved along with my friend Edward. One day my owner had to go to the hospital and she never returned. One of her relatives came out to check on us. He could not take us to his home, so he brought us to the shelter to find new homes. The shelter made sure I was ready for adoption giving me all of my vaccinations, they tested me for heartworms and I was negative, they gave me a microchip and they had me spayed. I will miss my “mom” but I know she would be super happy if she knew I had a great new home with lots of love, laughter, and fun family times! Do you think that could happen for me?

I was super lost and afraid! Anyway I guess someone saw me and called Animal Control to pick me up. Let me tell you when they pulled up beside me I almost jumped into the driver’s seat just so I could have some company and get a ride to safety!
