Yorkies by Smallfrie experienced a huge and tragic loss last night. One of my Yorkie babies got out the fenced-in yard last night when let out to go potty. She got out of my yard through a crack in my privacy fence. In fact, 2 of them got out, but the other is an adult and came back home. Icey was only 5 months old, and she didn't follow the other Yorkie back home. My daughter and I walked the neighborhood over and over last night looking for her, even taking 2 of the other dogs with us to sniff her out. We even drove around, hoping she would hear the sound of my car and come running.
I made posts on NextDoor, PawBoost, Montgomery Lost & Found Pets page and the Humane Society asking and begging anyone...everyone to please, please, please help me find her, keep her safe and contact me.
My sweet, precious Icey made it to the Southeast Blvd right in front of the military recruitment offices and was hit by a car. I am beyond devastated... Lord, I can't stop crying! How am I going to tell my daughter Icey is unalive?
I'm so upset. The contractors didn't reconnect my wooden privacy fence back all the way, and she got out through a crack. I'm so hurt, guys...I'm so hurt. I was praying someone would have found her, and even if they didn't return her, if they would have kept her and spoiled her like she was being spoiled here at home. If you all ever have work being done at your house and the contractor has to remove your fence to complete the work...please please please check behind them to make sure they replaced it correctly, don't do like me and assume they replaced it correctly and your furr-baby gets out and gets hit by a vehicle.
I'm so hurt! She was my kept back baby from Pork Chop and Nicky's litter. I LOVED that dog so much. I can't stop crying. My heart is broken.
