Happy Holidays! What a Wonderful year it’s been, We will see all of you next year!

***Reminder***We will not be having a November meeting this week since we had our show this month and we're light on agenda items. Our next meeting will be on January 19th 2025.

There are a few members who are interested in going to team penning/pen to pen sorting in December on Friday nights at 7 pm or Sundays at 12p. Cost will be $40 and held in Anoka. If you're interested in attending, ***PLEASE let us know in the comments what days you guys are interested in.

Lastly, we will need a new Youth representative on the Executive Board since Lea will be aging out. Please consider volunteering and sharing your thoughts and opinions to influence the future of the club! We'll also be looking for new (adult) officers and board members for our elections in February so please consider volunteering!

We had a packed day, but we made it through all 73 classes! Thankful for all our volunteers members and non-members alike, judge Lynn Ellen St Martin, and to Melissa for the facility. Thank you to all that came out to our pleasure and game show today.

Mark your calendars for our November 2nd Pleasure and Game show at Arrowhead Arena. We have W/T English and Western, Ba****ck and Tandem Ba****ck, Ranch classes that you rarely see, and all the game classes to get you qualified early for next years Champ show!

We had beautiful weather this past Sunday for our meeting to practice patterns for Champ show, and we had a great bunch of fun. Looks like we have a good set of riders ready to compete this year and many years to come !

Long post but lots of info for LMW members about champshow.

Next Meeting Info:
Our next meeting is this coming Sunday August 18th. We will be meeting at Bailey’s Farm for Champshow practice and sign up. At 4pm we will start practice including all the game events, team events, and the pleasure patterns. Then around 7pm we will be helping each other with registration and getting stalls and camping spots. I know some people have started there registration but we ask you to stick around and help others.

Group stalling Info:
We will be stalling as one group per usual. This allows us help each other keep an eye on all the horses. The club will also be purchasing all the tack stalls as a congratulations to everyone who has made it to this years champshow. If you are attending champshow with a horse or horses please reach out to me in some way to give me the following information so you can be with us as a group. If you have a certain group of people you want in your tack stall please let me know. I know some people like to be with certain people cause they are sharing things with someone. If you know anyone not in the club who would like to stall with us please have them reach out to me.
Needed info for group stalling: Rider name, horse name, saddle club, name on account paying for stall, how long is your stall for (full, games, pleasure)

A weekend wrapped up for our Little Wranglers annual Wright County fair show. A Thank you is always needed to the fair for letting us use their incredible grounds to host our show, countless volunteers that make it possible for us to keep our show running, our two judges this weekend Steve Bobzin and Lynn Ellen St. Martin and to all of the riders who make it to our show. Again, we appreciate this opportunity and look forward to next year's show!

Good Afternoon LMW Members!! Our show is just a few days away coming up on on Saturday and Sunday. We still have jobs open on the volunteer sheet so please sign up. I have the sign up sheet attached to the email sent to everyone. You can NOT edit the sheet but if you would like to sign up please contact Lea or if you see any mistakes please also let me know. If there are any open jobs left on the day of the show and one of our office workers see you they will ask for you to fill in.

Reminder our LMW saddle club meeting will be THIS Sunday, June 16 at Nordic Brew Pub in Monticello. We'll be providing some updates on Champ Show, discussing our county fair and ensuring all volunteer shifts are covered and sharing the future calendar of events.

Since its Father's Day, we're moving our meeting time to 7:00pm (our goal is to get you out of there by 8:00pm) but for those who want to take Dad out for dinner, several of us will be meeting at 6:00pm to grab food and drinks ahead of the regular meeting.
