Another fantastic update to share!!
Kanyon has been with this amazing family for a week now! We are so happy and we sure love these people! Couldn’t ask for a better place for any 4 legged critter! Gru and Diesel accepted their newest brother quickly! Kanyon took a little longer, but sounds like things are working for him to stay! 😅 He’s gaining weight and learning the new rules! We are so thankful for good people we call friends! BJ, Tanya & Family, thanks for loving him so easily!

Just a little past puppy update! This is Wit! He sure is the cutest boy! Wit is from our very first dachshund litter and he is so loved! Was great seeing him today!

Our last two Penny Boys will be heading up to Washington next weekend! We are so happy for them all! Our next Dane litter will be arriving the end of November! We will have our next dachshund litter this winter as well!

Guess it’s time to share! Here’s our newest addition to our Dachshind pack! We named her Peaches! She’s a Long Hair Cream! Full of personality and adjusting really well to her new home here in Idaho. She’s not wild about the colder mornings and evens yet! She came from a fantastic breeder in California! Whom I am so impressed with and would recommend 100%. Doing research takes time. But so worth it! Will share some extra updates on our dachshund side of things here soon! ♥️

Ripp has a new pack in Utah as well! His name is now Scotch which is perfect! Sounds like things are going great for him and they love him already! ♥️ He will remain as a co-own for the time being! We are excited to work with his new owner just as much!

Lucy is doing a trial in her new home in Utah! We enjoyed meeting these folks, and it sounds like things are going well. Saying goodbye to her, she sure loves Matt. But I’m confident she’s getting all the attention with her new dad!

This is Ivy! She will be making her way back from Nevada with us this Sunday! Ivy is a very sweet girl, just not with other female dogs. She had a been around kids her whole life. She will be 3 in Dec and she has not been spayed yet. Happy to make a stop on our way back from Nevada for the right situation! We will be traveling thru Utah.

We also have Ripp here too! Ripp is just as tall as Kanyon but filled out more already. Ripp was with a wonderful couple and some life changes have come that made a decision for him to be here. We have him on our website for potentials. Ripp is 17 months old. House trained, crate trained, loves women most, but loves everyone he meets. His excitement can be overbearing and pushy. He knows commands, he does need more practice on leash and assertiveness is important with this guy too. Meaning making him listen mind, or he’ll rule the house! Ripp is ready for grabby hands that feel comfortable for a huge lover!

This is Kanyon. He has come back and we would love to put feelers out for potentials. Kanyon cannot have any brothers (no male dogs). We haven’t tried to see how he does with our ladies here yet. He is good with cats. He is unsure of new people and usually growls some, but he seems to get over that in just minutes. He’s been a big chicken here with all the new things this week. Biggest lover, and you are slobbered in seconds! The last 3 photos show how he really loves Matt the most. He gives kisses on the face! Kanyon is house trained, crate trained, neutered. Knows basic commands. He would follow a man’s lead best! Assertiveness and confidence for boundaries is important with this guy. I think a no small children rule would be best just for his size alone! This huge boy is only 15 months old. He should fill out more now. He is BIG! He’s a Stryker/Autumn pup. I do plan to measure him to see just how tall he is. He makes me look even smaller than small. 😂 We will try to add him to our website this week as well. If someone loves big Dane kisses and knows the breed, you know he might be a great friend!

Everyone! This is Zeke!! Zeke is a very sweet boy, however his family has some life changes. That means this handsome fella is in need. For some amazing adventures and love full time.. Zeke is from our Percy/Stryker litter. He just turned 2 in June. He is currently in Spokane.
Here’s what his family sent to about him:

He is such a lover that he wants to be attached to his peoples hip all the time, he honestly would probably do best with someone who works from home but does tolerate the kennel/some alone time outside (if left inside he will chew things up), he is just extra clingy and gets the zoomies afterwards. He has had professional training that the basics are there but needs some more practice as I’ve been unable to keep up with reinforcement of the commands (sit, down, place (lay down until told to get up), off (essentially his no command), and to walk with his head at the hip even when on a loose leash with his person leading the pace) although out of practice he usually catches back up to commands within a couple days of consistent practice and maintains them well at that point. He is good with kids other than sometimes forgetting his size and bumping into them/half sitting on them when trying to cuddle. He has only been around other dogs a few times and has always been ok with them but he has never been around cats so I do not know how he would do with that. When I am able to give him a 3 mile walk a day vs only occasionally he was happy as can be and would nap around the house without chewing. He cannot have blankets though, at least not unattended, as he eats them and I worry he will give himself a bowel impaction one day. He has been neutered and also had the gastroplexy surgery to help reduce his bloat risk. I will send his giant breed kennel and his 2 beds he has and raised feeder bowl with him. I am just hoping he can find a home and family who has the time that he needs.
