Meet Blue!
It's his first time staying with ES Dog Training but he's already getting settled in and ready to relax this evening. #esdogtraining #dogs #dogtraining #dogsoffacebook #boardingdogs #inhomeboarding
Sooooo there's been a lot of exciting things going on in the background! 👀👀
Recently relocated to the center of our clientele service area which makes things much more convenient all the way around. (Hello Pineville; We are glad to be here!! 😁)🏡
A lot of plans and projects in the works for the new place as fencing in play/potty yards continue, blue prints for play yard & agility equipment get drawn plus setting up the medium/large dog room & then the small dogs room that will also double as my office space.
At this time I am taking (on limited availability) new clients and booking for boarding- these are limited spaces so please don't delay booking.
I do have a couple spots available in the small group obedience class; I will add these are refresher/proofing classes for dogs that already have a solid base foundation in obedience and are ready for the challenge of being in a public space around a wide array of different distractions.
If you are interested but have not taken training classes with me before please message me to discuss the details & to schedule your dogs temperament test.
Last but certainly not least! I'm pleased to welcome "George" the Bernese Mountain Dog puppy & his owner Julie into the training family. They have completed their first lesson and I look forward to assisting them towards achieving their goals of fabulous house manners and reliable obedience.
110# Male German Shepherd--Previous owner had to medicate him to go to the vet for nail trims. This is the first I actually used nail clippers on his feet but we have done a lot of work on foot handling prior to this. Regular handling/grooming ect doesn't have to be difficult folks; Be consistent, be fair, reward frequently for what you want & start young when possible. #CenlaDogTraining #ESDogTraining #dogtrainersoftiktok #germanshepherdsoftiktok #dogsofttiktok #dogtraining #dogtrainingtips
Belle Update: Belle is getting better about reliability off leash recalls with the help of an ecollar. Still working on lower level distractions.
She will be participating in our day training boot camp starting in January.

Last Saturdays small group class with Rex, Pepper, Nola & Ollie!
Everybody working on different skills & fine tuning their obedience around distractions- especially other dogs!
So July 4th 2021 is now over.... What did you do?
At my house we went outside; played & trained during fireworks. No stress, no hiding, no running around scared, jumping fences or running away.
How do we do that? Training & conditioning to environmental pressures and teaching dogs how to overcome obstacles -whatever they might be.
Are there some dogs that may always struggle? Yes; But there's a significant list of things we can do to help make the experience better and show them how to better cope with life pressures.
What are you doing to prepare for July 4th 2022?....
Or even the rest of this year?
Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years ???????
The average dog lives anywhere from 10-15 yrs some dogs even longer with good genetics, proper nutrition & medical care.
There's no reason to not invest the equivalent cost of a coffee or soda a day to help your dog be the best version of its self & enjoy a full life with you and your family.
Don't wait; get signed up with a trainer and make a plan to help your dog live life to its fullest.
Titans update video...
This dog has come so far from where he started out.
Very reactive on & off leash, at home & away from home
Defensive
No ability to relax around new people
Extremely vocal with no off switch
He is now enjoying family vacations with significantly less anxiety and growing confidence with every trip.
He can meet extended family and relax.
His barking has been given an off switch.
His progress is fantastic & major credit goes out to owners who have listened, done the work and stayed consistent with expectations.
Fabulous job! I look forward to supporting his owners as they continuing working him through real world training scenarios. ❤ Extremely proud of y'all!
