🐾 Be Safe & Protect Your Pets 🐾
Keeping your pets safe starts with preparation and a little extra care:
✅ Stay Up to Date on Vaccines – Farmers, ranchers, hobbyists, and pet parents should follow the vaccination schedule recommended by their veterinarian.
✅ Pet-Proof Your Home – Secure choking hazards, lock away toxic chemicals, and remove anything dangerous to create a pet-friendly environment.
✅ ID Your Pets – Make sure collars have secure tags with your contact info. For unique pets, take clear photos in case they get loose.
✅ Have a Disaster Plan – Decide who will gather pets, how you’ll transport them, and place window/door decals showing how many people and pets are inside your home. Update regularly!
✅ Learn Pet First Aid – Quick care for minor injuries can prevent bigger problems. When in doubt, always call your veterinarian.
✅ Know Your Pet – Changes in behavior can signal illness or injury. Never give human medications without veterinary guidance.
💚 A little prevention goes a long way in keeping your furry, feathered, or scaly friends safe and healthy!
