Update:
Working with her today, I was able to put a halter on her again and with a lead rope work with her on pressure.

We have been working with Cher, she is coming along. We have been able to put a halter on her, but she definitely will need more work to be able to lead her. Once she starts trusting, she will be a nice mare.

Congratulations to Lexi and Halfpint today! This is Lexi’s first year doing horse and pony in 4H and it was Halfpints first time doing anything like this! They both did great! Next year, riding classes!

Where are all my followers that are crafty or businesses?! Our fundraiser will have a silent auction, we are in need of donations that can be auctioned off to raise funds to help support the horses and to be able to get them the care they need. It is time for vaccinations and it will be about $700.00 to $800.00 to get everyone vaccinated and wormed. We would also like to be able to help more horses. Help us help them!

We will be having some fundraisers this summer, American Legion is sponsoring a Poker Run, July 13th. And Kassandra Prater is arranging a ride for September 7th. We could use donations of product that can be auctioned off to help raise funds at these fundraisers. If you have a business or are a crafter that would like to donate, just message us.
We will also be doing carriage ride late summer early fall at Jacobs Orchard in New Castle.

We will be at Gathered Finds and Designs in Anderson June 8th. Come find out about the rescue, we will be selling shirts, mugs and more, and will be accepting donations. We will have some product to give away also.

We will be having a Community Day at the ranch for everyone to come visit and see the rescues and meet the new baby.

even after taking the rope off of her she still let us pet her while she was eating that is one big step fwd on working to gain her trust

so Sunny came to us unhandled and very much pregnant so right now we are working to gain her trust. As you can see in the video we were able to pet her today once we got a rope on her. she is still very timid but this is a good step fwd

How is this guy still here.. this sweet boy is looking for his forever home

Talk about mellow, Lexis brought in Ghost to get his shots and worming and jumped on bareback and just in a halter! Great job with this horse Lexis!!!

Athena is waiting for her forever home. She is rideable, and knows her job well. She is still pushy on the ground and would need someone to work with her.

Here is Ginger you can get on her she doesn’t care at all she’s just needs work on going on her own. She is looking for her forever home msg us with any questions

Okay here is Zera she is rideable but needs work she will need and experienced rider she is ready for her forever home she is a thoroughbred mare about we are told she is about 14 years old

Look at this big guy go this is the first time we rode bolt and he did amazing more videos and pics in comments

Ginger is rideable but does need a refresher. She lead around great, but doesn’t go unless she is being led. She may follow another horse. She will be getting worked with but is ready for her forever home.
