Remember Spot, and his brother Blink? Well, we’d love to introduce you to the lady who made it possible: Shelly🐚

We rescued Shelly’s babies from Cleveland a few weeks ago, and we knew jusy we couldn’t leave this sweet girl behind! Luckily, Spot’s amazing foster had room and was able to help us get this girl off the streets. In her foster home, Shelly has completely opened up! She has plenty of places to lounge, many toys and her very own pup to show her how cushy life after the streets can be.

Meet Jafar 🐾

Jafar is a 1-year-old neutered Lab mix (36 lbs) with the softest coat and the gentlest soul. He’s a medium-energy pup who loves other dogs and has the most polite play style think happy tail wags and a single “hello” bark. With people, he’s a little shy at first, but give him time and he’ll melt into a cuddly, affectionate sweetheart who just wants to be close.

On walks, Jafar sticks right by your side, taking in the world without pulling, and he’s already potty trained, crate trained, and knows how to sit. He’d thrive in a moderately active home, especially with a confident dog sibling to help him feel brave in new situations. His foster adores him (and would keep him if she could!), which says a lot about how special this boy truly is. 💛

Say hello to Flacko — an adorable, silly 8-month-old GSD mix pup who’s officially on the hunt for his forever home and or a new foster home (through no fault of his own)✨

This sweet boy is a total social butterfly: he loves humans, plays great with other dogs, and is convinced cats are just future besties. He’s fun, clever, and always eager to learn — so much so that he earned an A++ in doggie daycare playgroups. Once the zoomies are out, he’s all about cuddles, belly rubs, and splashing around in the pool. 🥹💛

Flacko does well with older kids, is house and crate trained, and would thrive with an adopter ready to keep guiding him as he grows into an incredible adult dog. He has so much love to give — now he just needs someone to give it to. 💫

We want to send the biggest, most heartfelt THANK YOU to BISSELL’s company for their incredible Heartworm Treatment Grant 💙 Because of your generosity, 10 dogs at Dizzy Dog Rescue were able to receive lifesaving heartworm treatment which is a huge step toward healthy, happy futures.

Heartworm treatment is one of the biggest and most intimidating expenses we face as a rescue, and having this cost fully covered lifted an enormous weight off our shoulders. Thanks to BISSELL, these pups can now focus on healing, getting stronger, and preparing for what matters most: finding their forever homes.

The photo above shows every sweet face that this grant helped. Each dog pictured is a direct result of your kindness, compassion, and belief in rescue work. We AND our dogs are endlessly grateful for the impact you’ve made. Thank you for changing the lives of 10 of our sweet pups!

Meet Dipsy 💙
Dipsy is a 1.5-year-old, neutered Black Mouth Cur & Plott Hound mix (64 lbs) in a foster home in Houston, TX, and he can transport out of state with an approved adopter. Tall, dark, and handsome with natural eyeliner and soulful eyes, Dipsy is a gentle introvert with a goofy side who loves brushing, rolling in the grass, and carefully picking out the perfect toy.

He takes a little time to trust, but once he does, he’s incredibly loving — waking you with gentle paw taps, greeting you with his deep “Barry White” voice, and sticking close like a loyal shadow. He’s playful, affectionate, and delightfully quirky, especially when he “talks” about his day or slides under your desk to be your furry foot warmer.

Meet Billy Ray, a lovable, easy-going boy who was saved from the euthanasia list at an overcrowded Houston shelter and urgently needs placement ASAP. He’s already neutered, healthy, and honestly pretty much adoption ready.

• 5-year-old neutered Staffy mix
• Heartworm negative
• Very friendly with people
• Has done well with other dogs so far
• Crate trained & potty trained
• Calm, loving, and has a great demeanor
• Pulls a bit on leash but happily jogs once he finds his rhythm 🏃‍♂️🐶
• Cats unknown, but he’s a pretty chill guy

Harlow is a 5-month-old Lab mix with a big heart and an even bigger personality 🐾 Found abandoned in a field with his sister, this sweet boy is now safe in foster care and ready to find his forever family. He’s currently in Houston, TX, but can transport out of state to the right home.

This playful pup loves a good wrestle with his dog friends, then happily settles in with his favorite human 💙 He’s especially sweet with kids and loves sticking close to his person. New people can make him a bit nervous at first, so a calm, low-traffic home where he can build confidence would be ideal.

Currently in a foster home in Houston, TX, she can transport out of state once approved and is SO ready to find her forever family.

This sweet girl has lived with kids ages 3–8 and absolutely adores them 🧸💛 She’s gentle, patient, and loves being part of the fun. Daisy is social, playful, great in the car, and does amazing with other dogs big and small.
