Remember when we rescued Mario and his mama from the cruel streets of Texas — terrified, hairless, and sick? Look at him now. Fully healed, covered in fur, and blossoming into a big, happy, confident boy who’s thriving in foster care and winning hearts everywhere he goes.

Mario is a 4-month-old Staffy mix (about 20 lbs) currently fostered in Houston, Texas. He’s social, affectionate, and truly believes everyone he meets is a friend — especially kids. Watching him bond instantly with his foster’s 5-year-old foster granddaughter was pure magic.

Mario at a glance 🐾
• 🐶 Friendly with dogs of all sizes; respectful and well-mannered
• 👨‍👩‍👧 Loves people, visitors, and adores kids
• 💤 Sleeps through the night in his crate like a champ
• 🚪 Uses a dog door; may need help learning potty signals without one
• 🧦 Curious puppy who should be crated when left alone
• 🍽️ Eats peacefully with other dogs; not food aggressive
• 🧸 Loves toys (especially squeaky ones!)
• 🐱 Not cat-tested, but young and adaptable with proper introductions

Mario will go home on a neuter contract (an additional $100 refundable fee once completed). He’s ready for his next chapter — and hoping it’s with you 💛🐶

Meet Morgan 🤍
6 months old | Hound mix | ~35 lbs

Morgan is a gentle, sensitive pup learning about the world one brave step at a time. He came from a life with very little human contact, so everything is still new — but his progress has been incredible to watch.

He’s fully potty trained, incredibly sweet with people (including kids), and melts for baby talk and “good boy” praise. He’s just starting to learn how to play and loves a calm, supportive environment where he can build confidence at his own pace.🥺

Morgan is neutered, recently dewormed, and through no fault of his own, looking for a new foster home. A patient, quiet home — ideally with a secure yard and possibly a confident dog — would be perfect for him.🐕

Due to upcoming travel for his current foster, we are hoping to find another loving foster who can continue giving Morgan the gentle care he deserves.

✨ Meet Mattias — the perfect blend of brains, heart, and puppy joy! ✨

This 7-month-old, 45-lb Staffordshire Terrier x Australian Shepherd mix is as smart as he is sweet. With his Aussie intelligence and Staffy love bug personality, Mattias is a playful, affectionate pup who’s always ready for an adventure — and just as happy to curl up for snuggles once he’s had his fun. Mattias is currently being fostered in San Antonio but can be transported for an approved adopter. Ideally - his foster situation would continue in the state of Texas.

🐱 Cat-aware – may want to chase, but listens well and is easily redirected

Otis update 💕

Otis went to the vet he yesterday for some much needed medical care! He was diagnosed with Demodex, flea allergy and an ear infection. Poor guy has been through it, but is finally on the road to recovery ❤️‍🩹

Despite his past, Otis has been nothing but a sweet, gentle, snuggly boy at his foster home. We can’t wait to see him glow up even more! 🌟

He’s been in care for a while now, and we’d love to see this sweet, goofy boy ring in the New Year with a forever family of his own. Brody is the best of both worlds: down for an outdoor adventure, but equally committed to a full-on Netflix-and-snuggle marathon (tongue out, of course).
