Why do people just keep or give away dogs that aren’t theirs? This drives me insane. Just because a dog gets loose, doesn’t mean someone doesn’t love it and miss it. Sometimes people DO dump or abuse their animals, which is terrible. But why do people assume that this is always the case? If I had not gotten Zeus back, when a girl snatched him from my driveway, I would have been devastated! Now, all my pets get microchipped, but a lot of people don’t think their pets will ever get loose, so A TON of pets aren’t chipped. That doesn’t mean they don’t have a family that loves and misses them. Honestly, it breaks my heart to see all these dogs being stolen by “well-meaning” individuals.
