Success! After 5 days of Tortie not really moving and not eating. He's finally up walking around and eating! I was worried about this little guy, but this was another answered prayer. Thank the good lord! A weight has been lifted and I am so relieved to see him eating and moving! This is exciting stuff. So many amazing things happening for us lately. The colubrid program is started and heavy on bulls, pines, gophers, corns, and false water cobras. 27 new enclosures... 8 new snakes and more coming soon. Big, big, things are happening. Make sure to stay tuned to see the adventures unfold!

Lil boy blue, is losing his fear. This green keel bellied lizard is very inquisitive and curious. This is the first time I've attempted to "call" him out of his enclosure, and as you can see there wasn't much hesitation. This little one loves his food. I'm so excited to see him grow!

Need to figure out how to get a 10k loan so I can expand. Lol this isn't easy. But with any luck next year will be a a little better, 2 of the female falsies will be big enough to breed. So I'll need to move the babies out and put those funds towards the expansion. But in the meantime does anyone have any other ideas? Video of the beautiful Mrs Lagertha below is for attention.

The wife had some good times playing with some of the baby retics today. This is a male Renick ghost and a female G stripe. Both are stunning.

Very much looking forward to welcoming this 10 year old sulcata tortoise to the family in the coming weeks. Tortie is his name and he will be coming to us from a very loving family. Tortie will be used as an educational display animal working with children at local schools and special events and such. We are really excited to welcome him to our family. Stay tuned for updates.
