Saying goodbye to this girl yesterday was so hard. I am completely heartbroken. 😢 We raised her as a bottle baby and she was the sweetest, most well behaved girl on the farm. Ahsoka will be so missed and will always hold a special place in my heart. Ruby is very lonely with Momma gone but we will be sure to give her lots of extra love.

On a positive note, Lila has been saying she wants to be a Vet when she grows up. I think this experience has pushed her to want to specialize in goats. The vet admitted most livestock vets only know the basics about goats and fellow goat owners have solidified that. Sadly our mild winter plays a toll on livestocks respiratory health with temps fluctuating.

Fellow Goat Owners, Keep a close eye on your goats as they often do not show symptoms of illness until it’s almost too late. They are silent sufferers. 😭

The first bee to land on me this year. 😍🐝 He followed me around for a good minute until I finally put my hand out and he just landed right on me! So fun to watch!
