Please be on the lookout for our red Heeler Jeep. She left sometime around 8:30 this morning during feeding. Jeep is usually back before her running buddy and doesn’t stray from our other dogs.

She’s about 25 lbs. Her black mask on her back looks a little lighter during the summer. She will have the orange collar on with our info. Could have followed FS road 35 to weeks creek/aska area. Missing from Fannin / Suches / Hwy 60 area.

We have 1 male German Shorthair puppy left. They are 4 months old. Bird hunting stock on both parents: duck, quail, grouse, and dove.

AKC registered. I need someone to buy him before we are too attached. 😂he’s really sweet and has an excellent nose.

Update on the German Shorthair pointer litter. They are a week old today. 6 total and 2 will be chosen first and second by the owners so 4 available. One little boy is currently being bottle fed bc he’s had a rough time. Hopefully pictures today or tomorrow.

My father in law will have a litter of German Shorthair Pointers in the next two weeks. He’s not on social media and has requested my assistance with selling the pups.

You’ll see those here because I’m not sure he will breed again. Both he and the sire’s owner wanted to continue the bloodlines and will have 1st & 2nd choice. I don’t really want to create a separate page but I also didn’t think I’d have another breed to promote.

Both GSPs are AKC registered. We will take steps to register the litter. Both are from hunting / field trial stock. Freckles (dam) family line originates from Dellingers GSPs in Gainesville, GA.

Our feed store called us this morning because of the Victor dog food recall. We opened a new bag of feed around 10/31. Hank died the morning of 11/2. I’m angry because he didn’t have to die. But he was evidently more susceptible than our others.

FDA, CDC, and state partners are investigating an outbreak of Salmonella Kiambu that is potentially associated with pet food made by Mid America Pet Food.

We unexpectedly lost our Hank yesterday. He was completely fine on Halloween. Wednesday he didn’t eat and I thought he hurt his leg so he came inside for some extra attention. And he was gone by Thursday when I woke up.

Future plans are up in the air at this point. We may check with some local folks about a potential stud dog.

That’s a wrap on Jeep x Hank puppy season! Boy #3 is headed home to South GA today. It was a little sad to see him go since we had one on one time with him all week and my husband loved his color the most. But he’s with a great owner and extended family.

And then there was one….

Boy 1 aka Battlebot aka no new name yet headed home yesterday. I’m excited to see his updates because he will train as a service dog! Perfect personality for it.

We could not be happier with our 4 families that puppies went to live with.

Boy 3 is still available. Sweet boy with beautiful colors and markings. He’s very opinionated. Tried to herd our dog sitting Chi-weenie yesterday. 😂

Amy went to her new people early this morning!

Boy #1 aka Battlebot will likely be headed to a new home Saturday.

That leaves us with 1. Boy #3 aka Jackson Storm. He originally had a deposit but they aren’t going to be able to get him now.

He’s been one of my favorites because of his features. He’s a rough and tumble and Vocal boy. Deep blue color with tan points. Size wise he’s been middle between the smaller girl and Red and the bigger brothers 1&2.

Boy 2 aka Sonic went to his new family today! He will be renamed Bayou John and live with Marie Lavoe. 😁

Girl “Amy” leaves tomorrow with her family.

We are down to two and they are available. We will be posting them again Wednesday.

I would never accuse Jeep of being partial to any of her pups but she did seem to favor her only twin In this litter. 😂

Ranger went to his new home today.

“Sonic” aka Boy 2 leaves tomorrow and I’ll share his new name then.

Battlebot hung out with us all day and had his own fan club anywhere we stopped. He’s an excellent car rider.

We had a rare occurrence today. Jeep abandoned her babies with their dad. Hank was having a blast with them.

Vet Appt today for shots and wormer! Everyone did great even if they were not initially fans of the car ride.

Pickup dates will begin this weekend. We do still have 2 available.

April 16th - we will be traveling to Asheville for a pick up if anyone else is interested.

And then there was one….

Deposits on 4 puppies. Boy #1 aka Battlebot is the only one without a deposit right now. He’s the biggest puppy but also the quietest. He loves to be held. Very few black points on his body but he’s shaping up to be a beautiful blue. He also has blue eyes.

Week 3 puppy pictures. (I’m struggling this week, it’s been busy). These guys are wild. They are starting to play fight and escape. We’ve moved to the bigger kennel.

Definitely a weight divide with two bigger ones - boy #1 Battlebot and boy 2 Sonic are 8-10oz bigger than the other 3. It’s hard to determine who is the smallest of the small 3 because they are all within 2-3 oz of each other.

Boy #3 Jackson Storm was officially claimed and he’s not in photos. Girl Amy is in discussions so I’m not posting her individually either.

That leaves Boy #1 Battlebot, Boy #2 Sonic and Red Boy Lightening McQueen (he’s technically boy #4 but he’s distinguished 😂).

Puppy update - everyone was weighed and assigned a puppy collar tonight. My 5 year old was given the honor of “assigning” names.

Scammers are coming in hot with our recent litter. Please let me know if someone contacts you so that I can block immediately.

I will always make availability for a FaceTime to see the puppies or possible visit depending on locality. I do require a deposit but will give the option for goods and services with a fee rather than the non-secured option.

All of my photos will be watermarked due to scammers. I may eventually pull the first litter and mark those as well.

Scammer pro tips: Please don’t join a group with just a few hundred members. Watch for grammatical errors. Auto red flag for pushing for use of zelle for deposit. Ask for photos with a specific word on them to ensure real time. Check profiles for anything odd.

FINALLY!! Jeep had 5 puppies earlier today. All seem healthy and eating. It looks like 4 boys and 1 girl but that was a quick count since she wanted them back.

My weekly update is a little different today. We lost the only non-heeler in our pack Thursday. Our sweet bloodhound Jack who happily helped raise Jeep’s first litter of puppies won’t be here to raise her second. 💔

Jeep is definitely pregnant and could have puppies as soon as the end of the week.
