Thank Vinny and his Mommy for the cookies inside the Christmas event stockings , my dogs loved them !! Also we want thank Mille and her mom for snacks for the stockings and well ,, candy for us and toys , thank Dallas and his mom for the dog toys , Piper and her family for dog bones and balls … and if we missed anyone … know everything is so very much appreciated and we truly enjoy loving your pups ! We so look forward to growing and becoming able to meet more pups to pamper !! We love our Mayfield Mountain Club Family !! Here is a fun inside game we do with the dogs on rain days in daycare . The Box game with treats inside to sniff out ! We have empty box’s and objects we lay out as well . We do have outside covered area for the dogs but we like to do this without the wind blowing scent around . These nose work games are the basic ground work to training we do for NACSW nose work we train for . Nose work games are a fun way to keep your your dogs mind sharp . Providing mental stimulation is important for a dogs calmness and can help prevent behavioral issues . Here are a few benefits nose work can provide - outlet for your dogs energy - can help build confidence and focus - strengthen the bond between you and your dog -help your dog socialize with dogs and smells -helps your dog feel good by releasing the (feel good) hormones in their brain - gives your dog a sense of control by allowing them to sniff what they want and where . Best part about all this is your dog already knows how to smell really good ! Haha We do this with our daycare dogs and they really enjoy it !! This is Arlo, as you can see he is a fast learner . We line the dogs up outside the door and let them in one at a time and they each get three turns . We have as much fun as they do 🤩. Don’t to forget to Share 🙏
