Thank you all kindly for your patience. We are unfortunately unable to get our summer horses until May 30, 2024 which is much later than usual. We are shooting to open June 1, 2024.

Opening Update: We have the horses and are currently focusing on camp this week (May 29-June 2).

We will be open for trail rides this weekend. Please call our stable office to make a reservation as we do not take reservations online or via email. 303-697-9666

*Please note, there are several trails open, but many are still flooded. While we need the moisture, we hope those will dry out sooner than later, so we have more trail options.

Howdy Folks! We are so excited to get this season kicked off. The horses are ready and so are we! Unfortunately due to the unprecedented amount of rain, the park is partially flooded on the trails we use and our source for water supply is down. We are working to get the water restored and counting on Mother Nature to help us with drying up the trails, however we will be opening a little later this year due to rain. We are hoping to be up and running by Memorial Day weekend at the latest. We will keep the website and Facebook updated with the most up to date information on opening.

We are looking for three great camp instructors to join us for our 2023 season.

Our summer camp ranges from kiddos 8 years old and above. We have 14 campers per week and 2 instructors per week (7 campers per instructor). Our camp runs Monday-Friday from 9:00am-4:00pm. Our staff is required to get there before 9 and stay after 4 to help clean, put horses away, etc.

Our camp offers basic horse knowledge, anatomy, saddling/unsaddling, basic arena work, trail rides, etc.

We are looking for dedicated staff that can commit to a 2 week on and 1 week off schedule May 22-August 25th, 2023. On the off week you have the opportunity to wrangle at the stable if you’d like or take the week off. It is imperative that you are reliable, timely and organized.

We do not offer housing or horse boarding. Riding experience, horse knowledge, communication skills, and experience with kids is a must. First aid is a bonus!

IT'S THAT TIME AGAIN! SUMMER HORSE CAMP REGISTRATION!​

Registration for our 2023 camp will open on February 4, 2023 at 9:00am!

*Registration will be all online and there will be a link on our website https://www.bearcreekstablescolorado.com/summer-kids-camp .

Our week long day camps include: Grooming, Anatomy, Arena Lessons, Horse Care, Trail Rides, Tack, Horsemanship Classes and Certificate of Achievement upon completion.

-Horse Day Camps offers a great summer program for kids 8 years old & up (no exceptions).

-Camp runs Monday-Friday from 9:00am-4:00pm.

Cost: $600.00 per camper for the week.
($150.00 non-refundable deposit/camper/week due at time of registration.)

*Full payment for camp will be due if canceled less than two weeks prior to the start of camp.*

We are looking for wranglers to join our team at Bear Creek Stables. This is a volunteer position that does include tips which range depending on the day you work and how many days you work.

You MUST be 18 years of age and have sufficient riding and horse knowledge. We are looking for fun, positive, reliable people with good communication skills.
