‘Royal K’s Muffin Man Who Lives At Penny Lane’

He’s maturing into such a stunning boy, carrying so many of Kap and Coco’s sweet features and that wonderful, loving personality they both share. The entire litter was absolute perfection, and Muffin Man is proof of that. I can’t wait to see what the future holds for him!

I love sharing the reality of breeding because, while it’s a joy and a privilege, it’s also sometimes… absolute chaos. Yesterday was one of those days.

I had my whole day planned out. The Wicked litter was scheduled for their health certificates, puppies were loaded in the car, and we were ready to go. As I closed the rear door, I didn’t realize my ever-helpful shadow, Daphne (who insists on “assisting” with everything), had pushed the lock button and shut the passenger door.

This left ALL the puppies locked inside the car.

Thank God the car was running, but that didn’t make it any less stressful. Three hours (and one very determined locksmith) later, the doors were finally open—though not without a battle. The child safety locks on the back doors meant he couldn’t get in that way, and the window lock was on for every window except the driver’s side, which of course was completely out of reach. So after a long and painful process (that involved damaging both my front doors), he finally got in. A few hundred dollars in damage later, I was back on track and still hopeful.

That hope was short-lived.

Halfway through my 40-minute drive, the vet’s office got on the phone to tell me: “Sorry, we can’t see you today.” Not ideal, considering one family was already en route for their puppy and another was literally flying in the next morning. I begged them to see at least the two pups going home that night, offering to come back the next day for the others. Nope. Cue the desperate phone calls.

By some miracle, another vet—who initially said they probably couldn’t do it—took pity on my plight and squeezed us in at the end of the day. I booked it over there, only to realize that in all the chaos, I had forgotten to grab paper towels and cleaner like I normally do. The puppies, of course, had turned their crates into bathrooms and were now covered in p*e and p**p. So there I was, walking into the vet with a car full of stinky puppies and some very kind (but very unfortunate) vet techs trying to help me.

I think they felt so bad for me, they went ahead and did everyone’s health certificates—at three times the usual price, but hey, no complaints here. I was just grateful they saw us.

At long last, we made it home—tired, smelly, but victorious—at 6:30 PM. Baths happened immediately, and just when I thought I could relax, it was back to the usual: rotating dogs, feeding everyone, cleaning pens and kennels, changing diapers, trimming nails… My day finally ended at 1 AM.

Moral of the story? Don’t leave both keys inside the car, never underestimate a toddler, and always be kind—because you never know what kind of day someone has had. ♥️

Thrilled to finally announce that Flounder from our Little Mermaid litter has a name! After weeks of going back and forth, I was listening to a musicals playlist when “Suddenly Seymour” came on. He instantly looked up at me with those sweet eyes, and his little tail started wagging like crazy. And just like that, the ah-ha moment I’d been waiting for hit! 🐾✨

So, without further ado…..meet 🎉 Seymour!! 🎉
Official name: Penny Lane’s Suddenly Seymour

We’re beyond excited to watch him grow and can’t wait to share more of his journey! 💙

Saturday was such a busy and exciting day with 32 people visiting! I have to say, we are truly blessed with some amazing families. It was wonderful getting to know everyone better, and it makes me even more confident that our babies are going to the best homes possible!
