Penny Lane Update 💛

We’ve had our share of trials and storms lately, and although it would take far too long to explain everything, I’ll simply ask that you please keep our family in your prayers. It’s been a heavy season, but we’re continuing forward with hope.

As for puppies, our next planned litter will be yellows, so that is the list currently open. If you’ve been waiting for a yellow baby, now is a great time to reach out.

We also have a group of young adults and older pups who will be going through evaluations over the next few weeks. From there, we’ll determine who will stay here with us and who may be available as:

🐾 Service or therapy prospects
🐾 Wonderful family companions
🐾 Or possibly future show homes

I’ll share more updates as we go, but I wanted to give everyone a little peek at what’s coming up at Penny Lane. Thank you all for your continued support and love for our dogs.

🌸 Looking for Retirement Homes for Two Sweet Girls 🌸

We are beginning the process of finding loving retirement homes for two of our special girls. We are in no rush, and if the right fit doesn’t come along, they will stay with us. Both are beautiful, come from healthy lines, and have wonderful temperaments. We want to make sure their next home is just as loving as the life they’ve had here.

Ivory is a 4yr old yellow female and a true retriever and water dog at heart. She absolutely loves to fetch, play in the water, and carry something in her mouth wherever she goes. She has the goofiest, quirkiest personality, and she melts your heart with how gentle and loving she is. If you even look at her, she will duck her little head, roll over toward you, and flop down for belly rubs. Ivory has a special soft spot for babies and adores boys. She can be a little moody around other females or pups if there is an alpha female in the mix, but she never backs down and has a strong, confident personality. Ivory is also very sensitive, she notices your moods and will do her best to make you happy. She is a loyal, affectionate girl who will make anyone who loves her feel truly special.

Ladybug is chocolate also 4yrs old and the ultimate love bug and has the happiest, most carefree personality you could imagine. She is your classic easygoing lab, nothing bothers her, and life is always an adventure. Ladybug loves water, retrieving, exploring, and going on trips with her people. She is endlessly cheerful, loves everyone she meets, and has a natural way of making you smile. If you are looking for a dog who will follow you everywhere, share all of your adventures, and bring pure joy into your home, Ladybug is your girl.

Both girls deserve homes where they will be loved, cherished, and spoiled. If you think you could be the perfect forever home for Ivory or Ladybug, please reach out. 💛

My sweet Seymour turned one this month, and he's maturing into such a stunning stud. I couldn't be prouder to have produced this incredible boy, he's absolutely spectacular, inside and out, with the kindest, most loving temperament. One of the goals l've had here for the past few years is to grow our lines to produce better bench bred/English reds with championships and proper health testing. I'm hoping and praying that Seymour passes all of his testing and evaluations and can help carry us forward in that endeavor. He’s 89lbs now and has a lot more filling out to do!

Yesterday was such a full and special day with five of the pups being picked up in one afternoon, right after a busy morning of soccer for two of the kids! It all worked out perfectly, and we got to see Aladdin, Snow White, Cinderella, Aurora, and Ariel off to their wonderful new families. They’re already off on their new adventures, and I’m getting the sweetest updates! Wishing all these babies and their families an amazing life together ❤️

And the just like that, 8 weeks have passed and the babies are heading off to their new homes. The first to set off on his new adventure was Beast, who will keep his name forever 💙 His new mama says that Beast is doing great and already getting the hang of potting outside and of course, goofy as ever! He’s also obsessed with his new dad and likes to just stare at him lovingly, which I think is absolutely precious.

She is one of the calmer girls in the litter, gentle, sweet, and always ready for a snuggles. She has a playful, spunky side too, holding her own with her siblings.
She can be a little cautious in new situations, preferring to observe before diving in, but her curiosity quickly brings her out of her shell.
