We could not agree more with Amy winning volunteer of the year! When we took over at Lamoille Kennels, Amy jumped right in to help in anyway we needed! We have learned so much from her about animals, but also about all the work that goes into finding an animal the perfect home and helping an animal transition from various situations. Amy works tirelessly day in and out for the animals and families of Lamoille County and this is such a deserved recognition! Also- 👀 peep sweet Zeus alongside her…..he’s looking for his perfect family! Zeus has been an absolute joy to board! He is well potty trained, loves to cuddle in the lobby, is great at fetch, and also enjoys playing with toys by himself (I can’t even get my kids to play by themselves!). We’re back from our vacation and hanging with some old friends and new! A huge thanks to our staff (Shannon and Nate), Justice for Dogs Volunteers, and Jason’s sister, Erica, for holding down the fort while we spent a week as a family at the beach. Coming back to play with these sweethearts feels pretty lucky!

We got to spend some time with Frodo and he is just the sweetest gentlest kitty!

Frodo is dreaming of a forever home where he can snuggle on a lap, play with a feather toy and gaze out the window looking at birdies. 🩶 He doesn’t ask for much, but gives so much in return!

You won’t find a sweeter cat than this young chap. He’s only 18 months old, neutered, vaccinated, has impeccable litterbox manners, and is also great with other cats. He was surrendered when his family was forced to move.

We had such a great time with a few students this week! They cleaned litter boxes, fed kitties, and played with some of our mellow guests. They were so helpful!

We are so grateful for our local community partners and school staff who graciously hosted 6th grade students from PAML this week as past of their annual Maple Leaf program.
