We are excited to announce that our second (and final) foal is born! Petals had a very nice, big, c**t today while we were all at work. He was up and nursing already by the time we got home. Petals is an excellent mother and made sure he was taken care of! They were both tired and ready to settle in the stall once we got home. We are thrilled with how nice this c**t is, and are looking forward to watching him grow up! Pictures have been posted!!

We have been waiting for our two mares to foal any day. Koda decided that last night was enough waiting!! She foaled a beautiful, big, solid bay c**t! He is already showing how nice he is. We couldn't ask for a nicer c**t! Pictures are posted!!!

I'm a little late posting, but last weekend was weaning day for the 3 foals. They are finally all together, and enjoying it. Drake is thrilled that he finally can be with his sisters and push them around!! The two fillies were not thrilled with being separated from their mothers. Drake couldn't figure out what they were making a big deal about. All three have settled in and are content with their new situation. In another week or so they will be moved to where they have a bigger turnout. Pictures are posted from their first day as official weanlings!

I have finally had a chance to go through pictures from the beginning of the month. Victor and I rode in a Manual Trigo clinic, on Lightness. We both learned a lot and worked hard! Victor was introduced to more collected work in all three gaits. I got to work on improving my position and aides, and expectations from my horse. A couple of the things we got to work on that I haven't done much/any of, was super collected work and intro to piaffe. We also did a lot of walk to canter transitions, using should in to balance before the transition. I'm so proud of how well Victor did! I finally got a ride with him again today, and he remembered everything from the clinic!! I think this winter we will both make a lot of progress. Now I just need to incorporate the improved dressage with the jumping! I did get pictures posted!
