Rian Baggot, one of the PAWS Technicians, just finished the WSU Veterinary Scribe program. It is an in depth course plus a 100 hour in-clinic practicum to study veterinary terminology, medical records and exam work flow. We love having Technicians recording medical records in the exam room, improving appointment efficiency and accuracy. Well done Rian!!

New dosimeter badges go into effect today. Every staff member wears one when taking radiographs, plus a control is kept in the business office to measure environmental radiation. They are swapped out every three months and monitored. PPE is very important!

Katy Keim, a pre-vet student at Carroll College in Montana and a Moscow native, spent the morning with us today observing surgeries and appointments. Great to have aspiring professionals in Vet Med join us!!

“4-H Grows Here!” The 4-H office dropped off a thank you today for the years of support PAWS has shown for the program. And Brianna, the Miller’s daughter and also a proud 4-H member, was eager to show it off!

Breakfast all set up for the last day of the 12 week anesthesia training that PAWS has put on for our staff. No official class today, just a take home final, but that is worthy of a yummy breakfast!!

Dr. Bauer, his wife Bailey and daughter McKinley, are all moved and settling in the Moscow. He joins the PAWS team in a few short weeks, we can’t wait to have him onboard!
