Hey everyone. I know it’s been a while. I’m posting for a friend. They have a female Rottie. Never been bred. She should go to a single animal home as she doesn’t get along with smaller animals. She is an escape artist. Preferably needs to be with someone who has ample room and time for her. Seems to be a little hyper so socializing is a must. Working on getting pictures and seeing about the registration. Message us if you’re interested. I know it’s limited info. I will update as the info comes in.

Update: Her name is Kia. Pictures added. Age between 1-3. No papers. She will be a family only dog. I’m sorry for the lack of info. She had been left with this individual without paperwork and limited knowledge was passed on

Hey everyone! Just a little update. Rottweilers have currently started trending this year. Which means more people will attempt to own one of these beautiful animals. This also means many people who have no business owning a Rottweiler will be in possession of one. These animals will not stand a chance. There will be more sheltered and abandoned. So we want to give these animals a chance at a life one of ours may potentially interfere with. We also know that there will be plenty of BYB and unethical, cheap, poorly bred animals that come out. We are sorry if this upsets anyone but we must do what is best for our name and our bloodline. With that said we at August Rottweilers have decided we will not be breeding at all this year. Our animals are not a trend, not a fashion statement and we can not in good faith put puppies out when there are so many people hopping on a trend. We hope you all have a great day!

POTENTIAL OWNER: How much is the puppy?
BREEDER: $3,000
POTENTIAL OWNER: What?? It's way too expensive!!
BREEDER: What do you think would be a good price?
POTENTIAL OWNER: No more than $500. You breeders are so over priced.
BREEDER: I am sorry you see it this way, why don't you try it yourself?
POTENTIAL OWNER: But I've never done it!
BREEDER: For FREE I can teach you how to do it, and in addition you will have the knowledge to do it again.
POTENTIAL OWNER: Perfect, thank you!
BREEDER: To start you will need a female(average cost $3000 and up). Also a male(average cost $3000 and up) or semen (average $1000 and up). You will need to show them to their championship to show they meet the breed standard(Minimal $2000 with travel & fees). You will need to do genetic & health testing on them, averages about $750 per dog. Raise and provide daily care, feeding & grooming for 2 years. (So minimal $150 per month)
POTENTIAL OWNER: But I don't have that much money...
BREEDER: For $500 you can raise a liter and then keep one of the puppies. Obviously, you will pay the cost of whelping & care.
POTENTIAL OWNER: I can do that.
BREEDER: OK so I have a female due to whelp in 2 weeks. You will need to be available 24/7 around the clock for at least 8 weeks to help with delivery and care.
POTENTIAL OWNER: Eight weeks?? it's way too much time for me! I have to work.
BREEDER: You will also need the reproductive vet to do xrays($200-$500), possibly progesterone testing($75-$250) & C-section($1000-$5000) and initial vet care on pups until old enough to be placed.
Have on hand a scale, thermometer, latex gloves, sanitizer, absorbent tissues, scissors, hemostats, heating pad, whelping box, blankets, cleaning supplies, appropriate food with supplements for mothers, formula, medications & hand feeding supplies in case of emergency....
POTENTIAL OWNER: But I don't have all these things!
BREEDER: For $1000 you can buy them.
POTENTIAL OWNER: Ummm .... You know, I think it might be better if I just buy a puppy.
BREEDER: Wise decision.
For us breeders there are no vacations or holidays, while you go to visit with family & friends we are home at our dogs side caring for them. It is a no breaks commitment.
THIS IS THE REALITY
When you choose a professional you don't only pay for the puppy but also:
Tools, knowledge, experience, love, time, sacrifices, etc...

Hey everyone. Just a little information on picking your next pup and breeder. I was called by Google a few days back to try to get us a top spot on search results. The reason for the call is Rottweilers are “trending”. We do not need a paid add to help us with our business. This is very dangerous for our breed and community as a whole. Many new people will jump on and call themselves “breeders” but in all due reality they are jumping on a trend for quick cash. This will effect us all as a whole breeders, the breed and owners. With that said please do your homework and due diligence on purchasing a pup from anyone that just popped up on the scene. I myself can point you in the direction of many other reputable breeders if we haven’t had a pairing. Please help us keep this breed great and out of the hands of trending scammers. I’m sure us as breeders and the breed itself will be affected by this more than most. Please help us out here and stop this before it starts. It is dangerous and irresponsible to breed solely because it’s the next trend out there. Pricing will be very important to pay attention to in the coming times. Do not be scared to ask for proof of everything you’re being told. Before you make a decision, make visits and contact as many reputable breeders as you’re comfortable with. I’m not posting this to gain anything from it other than protecting the breed. These Rottweilers depend on us as a community to keep them going in the right direction and thriving.

From now on August Rottweilers will only take in new clients off of applications. Our vetting process will be strenuous and if we feel it is not a good fit we will terminate the application. We have to do what’s best for our breed. There will be a strict indoor policy on them from now on with ample outdoor time. These are our pride and joy, if you can’t treat them like any other member of your family you won’t get one from us. We will also be putting a no shock policy in our contract as well. If you have to shock your animals to get them to mind, you don’t deserve them. You should be well educated on this breed, know how to properly care for them and train or get them trained properly. Dear Customer,

Congratulations on acquiring your Rottweiler .

Please find the instructions for your particular model listed below:

Although your Rottweiler comes fully assembled, due to particular issues during production, we do occasionally have issues with components such as screws. They invariably are either loose or missing altogether.

Mode 1: This is the sleep mode, activated for the majority of the day as the Rottweiler ages. This is normal and you should not worry about it, just accept the peace and quiet while you can.

Mode 2: Anarchy. Although we have tried to ease the effect of anarchy mode, it’s not always possible. There are inherent issues with the timer settings of anarchy mode in regards to there being none. Should your Rottweiler suddenly go from comatose to running around the walls, we cannot stop this feature.

Sunlight: Do not allow your Rottweiler to stay in the sun too long. They can burn if left unattended but they also recharge. Too much of a charge and mode 2 can be activated without warning.

Energy consumption: This has been an ongoing issue as their energy consumption is too direct. We have tried to put baffles, non return valves and diversions in place but none seem to work adequately. Safe to say what goes in comes out, in both solids and gas. The gas, although noxious, can only inhibit breathing of the owner for up to ten minutes.

Naming: Your Rottweiler comes untitled as we feel owners should use names of their own. If you are unsure, we have listed below a few names our owners like to use:

The zipper: We ask you not to try to open a Rottweilers zipper on their back as this will invalidate your one hour warranty. Rumours that they are merely toddlers in a dog suit is highly contested.

Software: Your Rottweiler is pre-installed with the highest software and hardware. This includes the loyalty chip, the steal the dinner chip, fun chip, the biting chip and, of course, the highly popular mayhem chip. They are all running on the Whatthehell operating system 12.2. Although this has been in circulation for many years, we have found it simply cannot be improved upon.

If anyone on here uses Cypress Arrows K9 Academy in Lena Louisiana please remove your animal immediately. There are videos circulating right now with them abusing the animals. We will not be sharing the video to the page due to the graphic nature of the content. This is sickening. They have been reported and news outlets will be covering the story. I doubt the animals owners were aware of the situation. If you have training needs please get with me and I will get you in contact with some highly reputable trainers. Don’t cut corners when it comes to your pet and do your research first.

UPDATE!ADOPTED!!!

We have gotten different stories about this dog from volunteers. He is rescue only, seems to have issues with toy possession. Noted he must be an only dog on medical. Cats are a no, small kids are a no. If you are not ready to deal with any issues do not offer for this dog. He needs someone experienced that is willing to work with him and not dump him. He doesn't need a wanna be hero to go to the shelter, get bit and cause the dog to die.

😭 SWEET BOY, CONFISCATED SINCE OWNER WENT TO JAIL NOW HE WILL BE EUTHANIZED IF NO RESCUE OR ADOPTER STEPS UP!!! WALKS WELL ON A LEASH! He is stunning!!!! Please help!!

*Today we bring you the explanation why we should not perform intense physical exercise with puppies until 18 months and even 24.

*Puppy growth rates vary greatly by size. It's important to adapt diet and exercise to your puppy s' specific requirements to ensure ideal skeletal development. Endocondral ossification (the process during which cartilage turns into bone) differs according to the adult size of your puppy, with closed growth plates (complete ossification has occurred) between 3 months in toy breeds and 24 months in large breeds (see photos).

*There are many factors affecting growth rate and maturity age, for example, males mature more slowly than females. There are variations in periods of 'fast growth' ranging from birth to 11 weeks in small dogs and toys. Large breeds range from birth to 20 weeks (Hawthorne et al 2004) excessive exercise and inadequate nutrition during these periods can lead to conformation and malformation of bones, which can lead to the osteoarthritis and degenerative joint disease.

*Recommended exercise levels for puppies are 1 minute for each week of their life, twice a day. This should be low impact at a steady pace.

*If your goal is to train to compete for flyball or agility (for example), it is recommended to avoid any jump training until full ossification has occurred.

*This is what we mean to tell you not to rush with your pups, work other things with them. Work their minds, smell, worry about socializing etc.

*After spending the development months and making the corresponding plates, consult your veterinarian if your dog is 100 % for sport.

Just a little insight to our next breeding. We have tons of testing that must be run prior to breeding our next pair. JLPP testing, LEMP testing, NAD testing, OFA testing for hips/elbows, health testing, eye and heart clearance. (Many are already done) Among many others I have not mentioned. So this will be a busy year off for us. We look forward to watching our pups grow and enjoy stories with each of you. It has been our pleasure this far to provide many of y’all with a life long family member. We do not do more than two pairings a year and more than likely never will. We are not a puppy farm and take pride on choosing our pairings with care. With that being said, we won’t plan another breeding with our new pairing until all the proper boxes have been checked. Which will be no earlier than February of next year.
