Wish List Items Please! Some of our dogs are dealing with upset tummies and and some have very questionable snack choices. We need your help to change that! We need:
FortiFlora to calm the belly rumbles of the ones not feeling well. A full shelter is a pretty stressful environment for them.
Stop Poop-Eating Medicine to put an end to the “gourmet p**p” eaters trend.
Kirkland Dog Biscuits, their favorite, to distract them from the other snack options.
Donate at Morrow County Dog Shelter or Ship to 80 N. Walnut, Suite A, Mt. Gilead, OH 43338 and let’s get these dogs out of the p**p buffet business!

Beauty is new to the Prison Training Program & Available for Adoption! Her handler says "Beauty is taking her new world in stride. She is easy on leash and seeks perfection on leash. She is doing well at accepting all the attention and learning which other dogs are as eager to meet her as she is them." Come fall in love with her, call the Morrow County Dog Shelter, Mt. Marvel is adoptable at the Prison Training Program! His handler says "Marvel is taking it all in, and taking it in stride. He may be a bit overwhelmed, but, is realizing that never before have so many people wanted to be his friend. He is doing well on leash and doing well at paying attention to his human. He is friendly towards dogs." To meet this sweetie who's new to the program, call the Morrow County Dog Shelter at 419-946-1747 to make an appointment. Fuzzy is Ready for Adoption at the Prison Training Program!! His handler says "Fuzzy – walk at your side? Check. Run through the formal obedience? Check. Now, can we get on to the fun stuff and play fetch? Or well anything? How about we play with another dog? Now can we please play? Fuzzy is excited to do anything and everything, eager to play, eager to learn, and would be fun to train him in a canine sport." Guess who's ready for adoption at the Prison Training Program?? Remus! His handler says "Remus had excellent leash manners, even when he really, REALLY want to go meet that dog across the yard especially if it’s a girl dog. Remus has learned a good deal of self-calming. He is quick to learn and so very eager to work with a human. The key word is work, Remus would love a job, working stock, canine sports, keeping a gaggle of kids in the yard. His handler says "Spot having experienced patience and gentle handling, simply adores his humans and spends every minute trying to do just eh absolute perfect thing for his human. Spot is the perfect dog for a quiet home where humans enjoy giving him love and gently teaching him new things." He walks calmy down the hall at this human’s side, sits calmly at the door waiting for permission to go out. Peanut is about perfect manners in every situation. Don’t let that calm walking down the hall fool you, when it is time to play with the best. And of course, does the perfect head in the lap TV time when the day is done.
