Yesterday we had an amazing time, hosting a conference regarding service dogs at our facility. We had ten members from around the country from USDA Civil Rights Authority. We also had several members of state, nonprofits, and state Senator Mark Pody. Twelve service dog teams were in attendance to answer questions for the group. We discussed ADA law and how it could be improved. We discussed the problem with Service dog fakery, and what can be done about it using a European model. Everyone enjoyed themselves and the information shared. We thank all of our clients who attended and were willing to share their stories. ❤️🐶🐾

Public Access this month was lunch and a movie. 🍿 First two photos fittingly this weekend are veterans with dogs dressed to represent! We wish to thank our veterans this Memorial Day weekend as we remember that some gave it all! Thank you veterans for your service!! Tammy learned to train at our facility many years ago, then she became our Training Director, after that she was the course instructor, and now she is out on her own doing great! So proud of our students Kelly and her pup Crackers serving as a therapy dog for a nursing home. Crackers was certified by us and is now working for this nursing home and Pet Partners.
