Today is the first of so many good days for Abby! After several months at RCAS, Abby finally gets a brief escape. She will be going to Zen K9 Board and Training to correct some behavioral issues & we couldn’t be happier for her! Abby came to RCAS 7 months ago as an owner surrender, and due to unfortunate circumstances the family could not keep her.
For the last seven months Abby has been the best girl she can be. Even month after month of spending most of her time alone, she’s still hopeful for the day she finds her forever person.
She is so smart. She walks well on a leash, she’s learned to sit, speak, and give both paws.
She loves any stuffy toy she can get her paws on. Sweet Abby, our LONGEST resident ever, has watched dogs come and go for so long, she’s so thankful that she finally gets a chance!
Abby will have to go back to shelter life when training is over unless we can find a forever home, foster or rescue for her. If we’ve learned anything from Abby, it’s to never give up.
To go from years in a home, to over half a year in a shelter, and to never give up is so amazing . All of us here at RCAS are rooting for you Abby girl ❤️ We won’t stop until you get your happily ever after!
