I will be increasing the number of dogs I groom starting after Christmas! We have found a temporary solution for our floor until it will be completely redone come spring!

I apologize SINCERELY for having to cut back so much or if I haven’t gotten back to you. I have finally fixed my messenger to where I don’t have to search a name to see our message threads and can see new messages without having to do so as well.

Thank you all so much for being so darn supportive this first year of grooming on my own after working in a shop, it means SO much!

Full works (bath, blow/brush out, nails, the groom itself, ear cleaning)

Touch up (bath, blow/brush out, nails, light trim, ear cleaning) this type of service is really good for in between the full works services.

Bath/blow out (self explanatory but all services come with a nail trim unless advised not to)

Hey everyone! Due to some home renovations that are needing done, I’ve had to drastically reduce the amount of dogs I do each week. These repairs will have to wait until spring to be fixed; as some of you know we will be adding a new drainage system to fix the continuing rotting floor issue due to the underneath of our home consistently being wet. That being said, I do have a few openings this weeks for bath/brush/blow out, and I have room for one groom.

In the future, I *plan* on moving to Sardinia where I will have a dedicated building to groom in and that will hopefully be in the works next year. I appreciate everyone that’s been so understanding through this time as this year has been less than great and have had a lot of curveballs thrown our way. It’s been extremely hard and exhausting in every way but we are pushing through and remaining hopeful.

This is the reality of grooming puppies! It’s not easy and don’t expect the first couple grooms to be perfect because 9 times out of 10 it’s all we can do to keep them still. 🤣

This is why I’m so adamant about starting off super young and just introducing them slowly to the grooming process because it’s really easy to ruin a puppy on grooming. Slow and steady wins the race!

I like to start them as young as 8 weeks. Some breeders will even expose them to brushes and nail clipping earlier prior to when you pick them up, this helps us out a TON! Their first visit is usually just a bath, blow/brush out, nails, and sanitary trim. If they allow me, I will also do some light trimming around the face. We will work our way to a full groom each time. 💜

I am SO blessed to still have this girl on my table. Let me tell ya, when her mom messaged me just a few weeks ago that she was in critical condition after being hit by not only just a truck, but a truck and trailer; I was devastated. No one prepares you for how attached you get to your clients and their pups. When she was dropped off today I was also told she actually had passed away in her arms but was able to do compressions and get her breathing again I was just astounded. This little girl is TOUGH. You would never know any of this, she was a total rockstar and I just adore her. Thank you for trusting me with your babies, it means the world and we get attached to them so quickly. 💜

Josie got a fresh start today, totally understandably matted in some places as not easy to brush a pup on bed rest and she’s just got the type of coat that loves to mat, but I think she felt like a brand new girl afterwards and rocking her red flower collar. ❤️

Emergencies and life gets in the way and I completely understand not being able to make your appointment but I just ask that you send me a message or call me to let me know you will not be coming. If a no call/no show happens more than once I will no longer be able to serve you as I can’t afford to have my time wasted.

Matilda got freshened up today and is looking like a million bucks! I wanted to show my clients what undercoat impaction can look like-on the left hind of the video is after I got the impaction out and on the right you can see the blower cannot reach the skin therefore can cause harm and improper body regulation of the dog. This is one of my favorite things to do grooming so if you think your pup may have some impacted dead undercoat shoot me a message and let’s get you scheduled to fix that! Or if you just need a bit of a deshed I can help with that, too! As well as other grooming services. I do offer teeth brushing now for an extra $5 on your visit. 💜

Another update for y’all. Neck pain is not related to an injury, I just was diagnosed with stage 2 Lyme disease and am starting treatment. My Doctor said I will feel worse before I feel better but I wanted to be transparent and let everyone know what’s going on. I will return to taking care of everyone’s appointments as soon as I am able. I appreciate each and every one of you and thank you for understanding. 💜

Hey, all. Unfortunately I am dealing with a bit of a neck injury along with a bad poison oak rash that occurred on Saturday. I have very limited range of motion in my neck but am hoping that it will go away quickly. I am going to do my best to carry out the grooms that I have scheduled this week but if I do have to reschedule I greatly apologize and pray for your understanding. Thanks so much 💜
