Something really exciting has happened for MARs!!

For the many who do not know, I am a full-time Central Michigan University student on top of working at the pet store and running Mane Attraction from my home. I am an Entrepreneurship major, which has been an interesting pathway that has taught me a lot so far.

CMU just hosted a New Venture Challenge that one of my professors suggested we participate in. There were 50 something original entries, and 25 were picked to move onto the final round. I chose to pitch the idea of Mane Attraction as a brick-and-mortar pet store! I was tasked with presenting a 2 minute Elevator Pitch in front of a panel of judges and an audience, and then setting up a Gallery table with information about my venture, while judges came around and talked to us all individually and asked questions about the venture. I was awarded 2nd place in the Gallery portion, winning $1,500!

This has really spurred my passion for what I'm doing, and I'm hoping to make things even bigger and even better this next year!

We are doing our very first craft show this Saturday, April 8th!

I will have a variety of hammocks in several styles, rabbit harnesses, some beds for cats and small dogs, and mushroom rugs!

M&M Crafts will have accessories like collars and bandanas for dogs and cats!

Come see us for all your pet supply needs! We will also have a couple things for the humans doing the shopping as well, like lanyards and bags!

First is a pedigreed Holland lop litter, with one harlequin and three chocolate magpies available! Currently 2 weeks old.

Second are two lionlops, can be pedigreed. One female harlequin and one male black tort.
Currently 5 weeks old.

Last is an English lop/Velveteen lop cross! Two broken blacks available, one male and one female.
Currently 5 weeks old.
