"That's a wrap"! Simmons Sport Horses summer camps 2024 ended with the Beginner/Advanced Beginner Camp, and it was another resounding success! Riding skills ranged from those who take weekly lessons to those who had never ridden before, but all campers improved their skills and showed off what they learned at the end of camp Showcase. During the week, campers learned all about horse anatomy, horse breeds, markings and colors, and tack through games and hands on activities. We decorated horse shoes to make picture frames for portraits with our favorite horses, and we also created box horses which were used in our Camp Olympics. We cooled off during the hot week with water games and horse baths. Campers even got to create their very own dream horses and made home made treats for their real equine companions. We had such a great time with all three summer camps, and we can't wait to see everyone again next summer!
