Did you know that 43% of dogs sleep in bed with their owners? Where does your dog sleep? Mine either sleep under my bed, in the kids’ room or in their kennels 😅

🐾 Do you love your doodle’s luscious coat but dread the grooming sessions? 🐾 I know how you feel! Doodles are adorable but they need a lot of care to keep their fur healthy and mat-free. 😅 That’s why I want to share with you my top 3 tips for grooming a doodle at home. These tips have helped me and my poodles and doodles enjoy grooming time more and avoid the stress and hassle of mats. 🙌 Here they are: 1. Brush and comb your doodle at least three times a week. This will remove loose hair, dirt, and tangles from their coat and prevent mats from forming. Use a slicker brush and a metal comb to get through all the layers of their fur 2. Bathe your doodle once a month, unless they are very active outside then bathe as needed. Use a gentle shampoo and conditioner that are suitable for their coat type. Rinse well and dry them thoroughly with a towel and a blow dryer. Brush and comb them again after they are dry to smooth out their coat 3. Trim your doodle’s fur regularly to keep it neat and manageable. You can use clippers and scissors to cut their fur to the length and style you prefer. Some popular doodle cuts are the teddy bear cut, the puppy cut, and the lamb cut. You can also trim their ears, face, muzzle, paw pads, and sanitary areas to keep them clean and comfortable These are my 3 most important tips for grooming a doodle at home.
