Know anyone looking for a companion pony for another horse? We've got your guy!!
Crow (the kids named him 🤣) is 12 to 14 years old, sound and is cute as can be 🥰
He does need an experienced home as he tries to get a little pushy but overall a good gelding.
He enjoys being out with the herd and prefers their company. Tries to play boss but a good mare will remind him of his place.
Has extremely mild heaves and needs some shade during the summer but that is the hardest part to him! He is an incredibly easy keeper as he is on free choice 1st cut hay and mineral blocks!!
Who can open up their home for this little charmer 🥰

Anyone looking for an older, large pony that would be a great little kids horse?

Then this is your girl!!
Not mare-ish at all and she is not herd bound, she could pair up easily with a mini or even a goat!
Easy to catch as she comes right up to literally anyone lol
She is 25 to 28 according to our vet and an easy keep for her age! 1 scoop of Nutrena Proforce fuel twice a day and free choice first cut hay.

She is sound and very laid back ❤
She will be going on contract!!

As many of you have probably noticed, we are not pulling horses at the moment.
Due to personal issues and needing to finish some buildings before winter gets here, we have had to divert most of our attention to the animals we currently have and finishing up some projects 😩
As some of you know Sampson is still losing weight, with his age it is hard for him to gain weight as it is, we have tried, but he's still slowly declining.
Sweetheart, our little senior pony we pulled at the beginning of the year, got into a scuff with another pasture horse, she is thinner than what we want but has started to maintain weight rather than lose. Our vet said her prognosis is slightly guarded, bloodwork did not reveal much besides she is having a problem absorbing nutrition.

As it stands we will go back to New Holland in the late winter/early spring.

Story time:

This girl came to my attention a few weeks ago.
She was purchased from auction be used to show off and use for events for pony rides.
Now that the excitement has worn off.. she is to be sent back into the auction pipeline! I was able to get my hands on her and buy her a few more weeks in effort to find her a new home and keep her safe.

She was delivered to my farm late last night and I finally met her this morning.

Ready for the plot twist..... SHE IS PREGNANT!

She is bagging up! So instead of stressing her out through another move, I want to keep her at my farm and as comfortable as possible. We have no idea if she has had any proper care while creating her foal. (We doubt it!)

I need to raise funds to keep her SAFE!

$900 for her fee To keep her out of the auction house!

And I’d like to raise another $600 towards the vet care she so desperately needs!

*she has swelling on her face
*teeth will need done at some point
*needs seen by a vet and proper plan while she is expecting this Baby!
*then off to the store it will be for anything this mamma and baby will require.

Update: He is feeling better, breathing has calmed back down, no longer sweating and no longer trying to lay down and roll. Yall these horses are something else 🤦‍♀️

Well as our luck goes, Crow decided to colic on the one day our vet is not in town and we have no Banamine on hand 🤦‍♀️
Bute given in desperation and he seems to be ok for now.. Ugh!!!!

I know this picture may not mean much to some, but I see it and almost cry happy tears.
This is Hope, the crippled mare who when we first got her could not stand for more than 3 hours at a time, the same Hope that cause my hauler to call me when they were on their way here and said "I hope you have a sling and loader ready" and now this, she is now able to lock her stifles and take a nap like a normal horse, she will lay down maybe 4 to 6 hours a day. To me the strides in recovery she has taken have been amazing ❤
