ADA and FAA requirements for Service Dogs differ. Due to abuses, many airlines have updated their requirements recently.

While querying, I found this link for American Airlines. It is very clear and reasonable.

Well trained Service Dogs would have absolutely no problem meeting these requirements.

Anytime you plan to fly with your Service Dog, check with the individual airlines well in advance.

Information about traveling with service animals, including required documentation.

Thank you Barnes and Noble for your graciousness as our Service Dogs completed some of their American Kennel Club Canine Good Citizen skills at your business. Our dogs completed the skills to pass their AKC CGC Urban Community (the third level) requirements.

We understand you have had some very negative experiences with “service dogs.”. We are so sorry to hear this. I hope we raised a standard for expected Service Dog behavior.

Nice class today at Losco Regional Park. The environment was wonderful. We enjoyed our time of talking and sharing then working our dogs. The area was peaceful and cool, but people and dogs were all around giving us an opportunity to try generalizing our dog’s skill. Good job everybody!!
