There is so much to do for Halloween this Month!

On the 22nd, Prairie Creek Campground is hosting Halloween Bash from 5-8, with Trick or Treating, Hayrides, Crafts, Games, and a Campsite Decorating Contest!

Also on the 22nd, the 5th annual Trunk or Treat will take place at Heekin Park from 6-8.

Official Citywide Trick or Treating is on Monday, October 31st, from 5-8! Stop by City Hall from 6-8 for Trunk or Treat, presented by Police and Fire!

☆House Of Misfits, 2nd Chance Animal Sanctuary☆

This idea started out with me seeking a few personal pet ferrets after an unexpected loss, to cheer my son up.
In the time I spent searching, before i found the rescue I ultimately adopted from. I found soooo many people attempting to scam others about potential adoption, an it made me mad! As time passed, an I only came across more scammers. That lit a fire within me, to do my best to help in whatever way I could. With finding legit adoptions, helping fosters, or even taking in surrenders. Covid unfortunately already took a big toll on the ferret population. For those who may not know, ferrets can get, carry, & pass the covid virus. Elderly Ferret families are obviously at an even higher risk !
