Ford’s a good boy Ford is an adoptable senior pit bull who is the best! He needs to be the only pet in the home. So it’s not recommended he lives with them permanently.

He can play with dogs & walk past cats, but he loves his toys & won’t share with other dogs.

Ford got to play with Delilah yesterday. He enjoys other dogs as long as he doesn’t have toys to protect! We still recommend Ford being the only dog in the home even though he does play well when no toys are involved.

This page was created to get more exposure for Ford, a very good boy. Ford needs to be the only pet in the home; he can coexist with a dog or cat when he doesn’t have toys, but he is very toy driven and doesn’t want to share with other animals. He will play fetch ALL day with a human though! If you can’t adopt but want to come take Ford for an ice cream cone or burger, he also loves that. Or, if you want to play fetch he would be thrilled! Message us for information. Ford is totally crate trained and has never had an accident at ARF.

Ford LOVES his toys! Ford can be around other dogs but doesn’t want to share his toys, so for his forever home we are looking for a home where he is the only pet. He is very reactive to cats, so we also think he should be the only pet (no dogs or cats). He walks past the office cats, but when they run he chases them. We know looking for a home where he is the only pet limits his potential homes, however we want to set him up to succeed in his permanent home.

Ford is a senior sweetheart looking for his forever home! In the meantime while he’s waiting for his forever home, we will highlight his adventures with some of his favorite people who take him for walks, or to go get ice cream, or other outings around town.
