Update. All animals have found homes except the guinea pig. I have a few things available due to downsizing and going a different way in my program. Genetic stripe bearded dragon approx 3 years old. This weekend we almost lost this sweet boy due to GI stasis! As a bunny owner it's so important to know the signs so that you can get them to the vet asap! The signs are: not p**ping, hunched posture, lethargy, and typically starts with tiny p**p that then stops altogether. It is a very painful and potentially fatal condition and you must take action fast. You should always have an emergency kit! In your kit you should have: infant gas drops, critical care, and if you have the know how some lactated ringers solution. Special shout out to my veterinarian teams who saved his life.

Let's talk parasites. Coccidiosis:infection caused by parasites (coccidia) in the intestines. Contamination is possible through eating grass and hay in the rabbit pen that harbours the eggs (oocysts) of these parasites. While rabbits with a healthy immune system will not be affected by them, young rabbits or adults with a compromised immunity can become very ill. This is to show why it is so important to quarantine all newcomers. Luckily we started treatment early. Here's anchovy enjoying his medication
