These are some of the dogs that my brother Caleb(C-Smooth) and I watched over the holidays. I had a great time. It was almost like dog therapy but we had to take care of the dogs lol.

Don't worry. I'm wearing pants under the long johns lol Bro told me to throw on some AI drip but I couldn't do it. It's scary how much you can do with AI nowadays.

Btw, does the English Setter pictured in the first two pictures and the eighth one remind y'all of a character from a movie or show? The closest we could get is Steve Buscemi but we don't think that's it.

10. St. Bernard( Fun fact: When St Bernards were used for search and rescue at the Great St. Bernard Pass, they were actually much smaller and shorter haired. The breed started dying out and they bred them with Bernese Mountain dogs among others.)

Next week I will be posting about the Carolina Dog A.K.A. the American Dingo. It was my favorite dog there besides my nephew and there were a lot of cool dogs there!!! ( It's in the back of slide 3...)

My sweet Tater Bug. He is sixteen years old now!! He still loves going on walks and other puppies keep him young. I believe he is a Golden Retriever mix. He has always been a very loving and gentle dog.

He was very obedient in his younger years but I think with age he's become a bit hard of hearing perhaps 🤔
Still very wise though. Almost monk-like in his demeanor

Dracaena compacta 'Janet Craig's. 15 dollars. This is a very hardy plant that doesn't require much watering.

On another note I'll be at the Paducah reptile expo to vend this Saturday, November 18th! Come out and see me and buy something if you can! Tickets are usually 10 dollars or less and free for kids under a certain age.

Satin pothos (Scindapsus pictus)
Easy to care for houseplant. Prefers to go slightly drier than typical Jade Pothos. I water every two weeks in indirect light.

Tricolor Peperomia for sale for $15. The cultivar may be 'Ginny'. Also known as the baby variegated rubber tree and Peperomia ginny rainbow Tricolor according to another site. Will ship too. It has been an easy houseplant of mine for a year. I water about every 2 weeks in the winter when the plant is exposed to indirect light but it depends on your lighting and how much you water. Wait until the soil is relatively dry to water (about 2 inches down the soil should be dry). I was told when I bought it that it was P. Clusiifolia and they are native to Jamaica.

I have some Tradescantia for sale. A.K.A. Spiderwort or wandering dude. The first one pictured is a Tradescantia sillamontana. They're a xerophytic species from Mexico. The second pictured is the purple heart wandering dude(Tradescantia pallida). It has been flowering for the past two months. I have propagations for 6 bucks and whole plants for 12.

Here are some pictures of a wild Melothria pendula. Also known as creeping cucumber or the Guadeloupe cucumber. As you can see it looks like a miniature version of our garden cucumbers(Cucumis sativus) with similarly shaped leaves and tiny yellow flowers. It tastes just like a garden cucumber as well. Except it is less slimy which I prefer.

I found it on a rocky beach at Kentucky Lake. It seems to prefer bright, indirect light and moist but well draining soil. When the fruit is green it can be readily eaten. Once the fruit turns black it apparently becomes a laxative but reports differ on this side effect.
It is in the gourd family(Cucurbitaceae) along with squash and other pepos.

Fruit: the fleshy or dry ripened o***y of a flowering plant, enclosing the seed or seed.

Pepo: any fleshy watery fruit of the melon or cucumber type, with numerous seeds and a firm rind.

My Mourning gecko hatchling is almost smaller than a dime!!! And this is normal size!!! Lepidodactylus lugubris A.K.A. the Mourning Gecko or Common Smooth-Scaled Gecko(never heard it called that though) is a species of tiny gecko from Southeast Asia and neighboring islands(full distribution on slide 9). They are a nearly all female species that reproduces parthenogenically(basically cloning) and they are very easy to care for.

They appreciate household temperatures and can overheat if exposed to 84° fahrenheit or hotter especially without humidity, shade, or ventilation. 70-80° degrees is a very comfortable range for them. They appreciate 50-90% ambient humidity and nightly misting. They also eat Crested Gecko Diet and small insects like fruit flies and bean beetles. They will reproduce freely and prolifically especially if you own more than 1 so make sure you have a plan for the babies if you keep them. They often live in small colonies and group units in the wild. Groups make them feel more at home in captivity too. 3-6 individuals can be housed in a 10-20 gallon vertical cage depending on accommodations and decor.

As you can see they are a pretty tiny species. Some people colloquially call them micro-geckos along with several other species in a similar size range. However, this is a bit confusing and misleading because while they are small they are not actual microgeckos in the genus Microgecko. You could call small geckos that aren't in the genus Microgecko, dwarf geckos. However, there are geckos in the genus Microgecko with dwarf in their common names. So that idea would almost make it even more confusing. I suggest we call all geckos within 1.5-3.5 inches(~) tiny geckos to avoid any further confusion.(Sounds pretty cute too🤣). On slide 8 you can see all the geckos that are actually microgeckos in the genus Microgecko. The Real microgeckos.

These are some of my Crested Geckos! I breed and sell them! Static is the first one and he is a harlequin morph. Jasper is the second and he is a yellow dalmatian morph.

Crested geckos are one of the easiest beginner level reptiles when it comes to care and ease of handling. They appreciate room temperature environments since they come from a temperate rainforest island called New Caledonia.
