Our moo-moo’s chowing down on some freshly mixed feed
Someone just wanted some milk for their cookies this Christmas season #thief
The goats and I play this fun game where I order packages for them to open for me. Sometimes as an added bonus on windy days, I get to go on a scavenger hunt for package contents. It’s a real laugh 😂
Yesterday was a long one! We spent a good chunk grinding hay and cleaning up around the cows. We finally got our calves flapped to wean them off ma (I tried to get y’all a video of the process but when work is required, it’s hard to step back and snag you clips—-it’s a process I’m still working on 😅). The storm finally came in but luckily for us, the roads stayed decent because we moved horses around mid-storm to some pasture ground. We even snuck in some coyote hunting and family pictures with all the doggos early in the day (those pictures to come soon 😉).
A little Thursday throwback to when Tess was a real go-getter with the cows 😅🤣
Our fainting goat, Iggy, sure puts up with all the schenanigans fairly well. We make have broken her “fainting abilities.” 😂
We had a busy day with the poultry! We finally got started (and almost finished) with insulating the bird coop. 🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼
Next, we rehomed the non-replacement hens, our big blue drake, and a young drake. They’ll make their new flock up in Emmett ❤️
