As warm temperatures rise through the weekend, swimming with our 4-legged pals sounds like a great way to cool off.
Unfortunately, this weather also means blue-green algae will be in the waters again. It is important to keep yourself and your pets safe. Avoid letting them swim or drink from water with blue-green surface blooms. Consider bringing bottled water with you on walks.

Blue-green algae causes severe neurological symptoms, including seizures and paralysis, and often, death. There is no known cure for the toxin, only intense supportive care.
